i would if i had madden 2010 on xbox.  now, if anyone wants to set up a madden 08 league on ps2, i'll be all over it.

If you have an xbox, you could probably get Madden 10 on the cheap.

I'm signed into the league. Had a hard time picking a team and only two had been taken. Never realized how much I dislike other teams. Go Falcons.

so is everyone cool with a fantasy draft? i'm pretty sure we can just sim  one if we can't find a time to get online at the same time.  i just feel that at least for me, being so bad and all, it would be nice to have the teams a bit more evenly matched.

yeah maybe we can set a few dates and times and then we can all vote on a night and time to do it once we fill all the spots. im eastern time zone and so is DMF.

Would it make sense since there are 8 spots for players, that 4 guys pick AFC teams and the other 4 pick NFC teams? That way its sort of even and we all have shot at playoffs and what not?

I picked the Chargers already. And also Phatty, whats up with the set the draft board? Is that important at all? I'm guessing that only matters if we simulate the draft?

no idea on that last part, i'll look next time i get on.

and good point about spreading the teams out, that way no one has an advantage in playing computer teams more than the rest.  i guess we need to figure out what our final numbers of people in the league will be and then we can restart it and pick teams.

I think you can log on to pre-rank your players in case you can't make the draft time, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I asked another guy to hop in. I figure the more people and fewer computer teams, the better. But if you want me to stop looking for people, say the word.

Yeah I might be able to get two others guys on my friends list to join. I'm excited to get this rolling. I never played Phatty, but I played Zanshin a few times on 08 and he kicked my butt. To make excuses though, those were the days of bad lags when the game came out! Later that year it seemed to be fine, but it was unplayable for a long time. I played 3 online games I think for 10 and they were solid. Zanshin is good though. DMF is good too, we had some battles recently.

Too bad ChuckChillout has a PS3...he'd be all over it.

you can see my online record i think...i'm pretty sure i have about a .300 winning percentage or somewhere around there.  it's not good. plus, i haven't played that much madden lately and when i do i've been doing the create a superstar mode so i haven't actually played defense or thrown a pass in months.  will have to get some practice in before we start.

and i say invite as many people as we can.  it'll take longer to progress the weeks but it's better than playing computer teams.

i got a best buy gift card for xmas so perhaps i'll use it to pick up madden.  of course, that's easier said than done since the closest best buy is about 50 miles away.
