You mean like somewhere where people can put on their own items for sale, and people bid on them to get them at lower prices than normal retail? Nah.

Should have said new. I've gotten owned one too many times on E-bay. I know you can get new items on e-bay from "businesses", but I just don't trust the whole deal anymore. Loved Ebay years ago, but I've gotten screwed over on too many things to even bother anymore.

have you gotten screwed over by people with good feedback?  because, normally, if you are vigilant in purchasing from good feedback sellers, you should be alright

When I was an Ebay newb, I got screwed by a person with only like 20 comments. From what I remember they seemed pretty good. I got burned a couple of times by persons with good to excellent feedback. Haven't lost truck loads of money, but it's been enough to keep me from chancing it if I can get the same thing from the local store for a few more bucks. Rare car parts and the like, I still buy from Ebay on occasion, but that's a different ball of wax. Never once had a bad expierience with car stuff, especially the antique stuff. Electronics, etc., is where I've had the trouble.

IMO the best way to buy games cheap is to buy used games. the store is not going to put out a disk that doesn't work. I got Perfect Dark for 17 and Crackdown for 35. We have acouple gamestop's here in lanc and they have a club where u get 10% off used games and 10% more torwards games you trade in

I've bought Tony Hawk Project 8 and College Hoops 2k7 on eBay and both times they were fine. The trick is to find someone who sells video games exclusively on that username, like This guy. Obviously not only that person, but you get the picture. You need to be real careful when you're bidding on expensive stuff from relatively new eBay people.

Got the MLB 2k7 last night. My wife bought me Lost Planet for my birthday, but as I said earlier that would have been the fifth shooter I owned, and I have a grand total of seven games. So I swapped it for a baseball game.

I haven't played a baseball game on a console since....shtein.....the originial playstation I think, maybe Playstation 2.

The good: This game is pretty silly. The amount of control you have over pitches, batting, baserunning (you can tell the guy which side of the bag to slide into, head/feet first slide, feign steals, etc.), and fielders is insane. You can act as a manager as well, visit the mound, double switch, play shifts, all of that. The animations are pretty bad ass, and all the little stuff is there, like Howard stepping out, spitting on his hands and clapping them, and Rowands goofy batting stance. Even relatively unknown guys like Bourne, a lot of their details are there. Other thing I noticed is that unless you seriously gimp the settings, if a team in Franchise or Season mode sucks to begin with, it'll show in the game. I hammered the Nationals in my first game like 9-1, but then when I played the Braves with Smoltz pitching I barely squeeked out the win.

The bad: The graphics overall are pretty nice, but when they zoom in on closeups, you can see daylight or the field through their mouths and/or eyes. Plus they tend to all look Asian. Other thing I noticed that kind of sucks, it take about forty minutes to finish one game. It'll be a long season.

For a baseball game though, it's pretty bad ass, I'm glad I switched for it.

Manhunt 2 for the Nintendo Wii is looking like it might be the first AO Rated game for a console, ever.

Check what I said on MLB 2k7. The game is a piece of shtein, and it's a shame because the actual gameplay and graphics are top notch. The farging thing hangs all the god damned time, and reboots my 360. I checked it out online, and people using all of the consoles the game is available on report the same shtein. From now on I am doing a little more research before I drop 60 bucks on another game.

I was kind of thinking about MLB 07 for the 360. I want a sports game. Haven't seen much about any of them.
