If you like martial arts stuff and pretty good stories, then yeah. You've just got to remember that it's a RPG and not an action game.

I just finished my first run through Jade Empire, and I enjoyed every second of it. It only took me 22 hours, but I skipped a few sidequests. The plot twist really caught me by surprise, and the ending wasn't cheap. I'm gonna go through again and find out how good the hot lesbian romance is.

Last week was my long week at work, so I figured I deserved a little break.

That's an RPG? I was going to avoid it because I thought it was just a combat/ fighter game. Cool, I'll have to check it out now.

Anyone get Rome: Total War? I'm curious how it plays compared to the other Total War games.

I got Brothers in Arms a little while ago. I'm really not a big FPS gamer but the game's pretty nice. It's a little to easy to figure out some of the coding triggers though. (Player X moves to spot 1 and _ number of Germans 'pop' from location b - that sort of thing.) Once you figure out what prompts what action you can basically massacre the game's AI.

The combat is a little more actionish, but you still get to level up and tweak your character. I'm not much for action games, but I was able to get the hang of things after a while.
