Yeah but when I went up against the Buccaneers in preseason, they couldn't complete crap either. Another thing I don't like is that they leave the starters in for the whole preseason game, you could change it but the other team leaves theirs in the whole game.

I'd prefer substitutions in pre-season to be manual. Madden automatically puts in backups at halftime in pre-season, and it annoys me. I'd rather choose who goes in specifically myself.

Right. Which I do. But I prefer to decide when the backups go in and who exactly they are instead of having the game automatically substitute at halftime in every pre-season game. It sucks.

yea i agree FF. You should be able to create second team subs, completly editable. I like to get everyone in the game. progression will go up if you get them in for a quarter or less a game. i have back-ups in my madden franchise that are in the 90's after 2 years on the bench.

I think for a game like this they should have players slotted or allow you to slot them before the game, much like the real NFL.

i was able to do that by just creating a subsitution package.

The point is that they still automatically sub at halftime in Madden, which blows.

you can opt out of that.

you can also just skip the preseason.

meh.

i didnt get more than 20 games in of 06 before i got bored of it. i don't think i have played more than 10 hours of video games in the past 6 months.
