From there, you can choose to say hi back or fire Marty on the spot. Of course, we said, "You're fired," and he comically disappeared through the conference room floor. Trump would be proud

just saw a commercial for it over lunchbreak.  some guy telling jeff fisher to run the same play they just ran over again. fisher is like, its a bad call. the guy's like, oh yea! well letting eddie george go was a bad call too. 

i did not find it funny. but the game sounds cool.  wonder how much its going ot go for? im not spending more than 30 dolllars on a football game that i can't play.  do u pick the play and then watch it?  thats no fun to me, but the whole managing the cap, signing players, draft evaluations is what i like in madden.

Trying the demo now.  Chris Gocong just got drafted #5 overall by the Pack, ahead of Hawk.
Bunkley went #6.

Is it fair to say that if Justice goes top 10, the Eagles are the bestest drafters evar?!?!?

It's pretty cool.  I like that the players' ratings are more normal.  Instead of the difference between a Hall-of-Famer and a mediocre starter being maybe 15-25 points, it would seem like 50 is now closer to the average rating.  Makes personnel stuff a lot more exciting.

For example:
David Carr is a 48, and his backups are worse.

Also, the draft is pretty cool.  I would say it's worth picking up, but only if you don't plan on getting Madden.  It's basically better than Madden in every way except the actual gameplay... which is pretty important to most people, just not me.  I will probably buy this later this week, although I could as early as today for PC.

You call the plays.  You can also change your playbook, create plays, etc.

It's really everything about the NFL except actual gameplay and marketing deals with ticket brokers.

One thing is for sure, Cocong is the best draft pick ever - by any professional organization. Period.

One other thing I am sure of, there is no way EA could ever properly render Hawk's massively disfigured elephant face properly in the video game enviorment. It would be cool if you drafted him, and whenever he came in for a motivation meeting with you, the coach, you could make the coach say something politely whitty to Hawk like, "Jesus Christ! It's Elephant Boy! Good practice today mutant."

sounds bad ass. im still going to pick up madden though.  actual gameplay is too much fun to do without.  i think they might eventually mold these two games together in the future and Head Coach just may be a test to see if fans like it.  The more in depth and realistic, the better.
