I guess it might be different if your wife worked nights.  But the only way that would be OK would be if I really hated my wife and didn't mind never seeing her at all.  Unfortunately, I don't hate her.

this comment would bother me, but you seem pretty nieve about having a family, so it doesn't.

I understand it's a way of having two incomes and not paying for day care.  But thanks.

I really wanted Black but decided not to buy it. I heard it's only like 5 hours long and to me that's a waste of $40. There are a few games coming out late this month that I'm saving for. Been a long time since I've bought a game.

sounds like a good one to purchase, beat, and sell on ebay right away and make your money back.

That would be what I usually do, if it weren't for my ebay account currently being suspended for not paying the bill. I got this outrageous bill from them and refused to pay it, and they suspended my account until I do.

Just started HalfLife 2, already on Chapter 4. So I'm hoping this game gets a lot better because so far it's craptacular like Doom 3.

Are you serious? What part are you up to?

It's tied for the best FPS I've ever played.

I'm zooming around in some 1 man propelled boat in a sea of toxic waste.  Which game is this tied with? Call me crazy, but I still consider Halo 1 and 2 as the best FPS's ever.

They should call that game "Fishing in the Delware".
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

That part was kind of annoying, I'll admit. It was fun at first, but it goes on and on for so long. You still haven't come across the most annoying part in the game though, and it comes up shortly after the boat part, which is pretty long depending on your style of play. The game gets better as it goes along though, and the final chapter is the most fun I've ever had in a FPS. You'll find out why.

It's pretty long for a FPS, though, but it's definitely a great great game.

Metroid Prime 1 and 2 were great, and Battlefield 2 is great, but mostly for multiplayer. I like Half Life 2's single player more than Battlefield 2 though.

Glad to hear it gets better, I read so much on games before I buy them and had extremely high expectations.

The BIGSTUD

What specifically don't you like about it so far though.

Even though the part you are on was a little long and annoying to me, the action is still fun, the environments are very open, cool, and fun to explore, and it has a good story for a FPS. Usually FPS don't have very much of a story.

Its a combination of things: The graphics are only alright, nothing spectacular. The enemies aren't that great and they're really easy to kill considering they all stand near a flammable cannister that's really easy to hit. Don't like the weapons so far. I have a crowbar, a handgun, and a machine gun. Yay. The game play feels exactly like Doom did. Haven't really gotten into the storyline except I know I'm some Heroic Doctor.

The BIGSTUD

The weapon part will be taken care of in due time. You get a pretty decent sized assortment.

Once you get a certain gun, the game gets a lot more fun, because the gun is so awesome. You get it at the end of the water vehicle part of the game.

I thoroughly enjoyed up to the part where you are in the game, but I will say it does get better as it goes along IMO.
