Yeah, I don't play much. I got the new Madden for my birthday and was pretty underwhelmed. If it wasn't a gift, I wouldn't have gotten it this year, and I used to love that.

i actually thought Madden was pretty good this year, i'm happy with it. the one issue i have is that i love to run no huddle with the eagles and they don't have any provisions for that other than you can audible and call 1 of four plays which is lame. NCAA used to give you access to your whole playbook when running no huddle which was very cool.

It's not bad this year in and of itself...but on the 360, it's almost exactly like last year which kind of makes it a $60 roster update. They've clearly moved on from the 360 in terms of development, which is understandable. I just don't play enough to rationalize getting a new gen console at this point. Maybe if a sale comes up or something. The idiotic lack of backward compatibility of last gen games with the new consoles doesn't help with that decision.

I haven't played a game in a year, never finished the Pirates AC. Let my xbox live account expire. Anyone get one of the next gen systems? How do they compare? I played Forza at BB a few weeks ago on the xbox1 and graphically it was pretty amazing. Looks like the PS4 is outselling the xboxone.

i have a 360 but i told my wife i wouldn't mind a PS4 for christmas. i have a couple of friends who got one and like it.

I planned on getting a One, but from all accounts they're just not there at the development standpoint. Maybe christmas time i'll get it, but I need to sell off a ps3 and one of my 360s just so they dont collect dust.

Backwards compatability isn't a problem this time, everyone's re-releasing the games from the last systems again at full price, but with all the DLC you didn't want.

Nobody was prepared for this generation to start, and there's no games available. Unless you really need an overpriced blu-ray player, there's no point in picking one up until Christmas '15.

Exactly. I didn't pay full price for the games I have now. There's no way I'm shelling out $70 for the same shtein I already bought with a few more pixels. Ridiculous.

My 360 took a dump a couple months ago. Got a replacement from game stop for $75 but it has a kind of cheesy wood grain skin on it. Can those things just be peeled off easily, or will they tear apart and be a pain in the ass?

i bought madden today because....i just happened to be walking by a gamestop. probably haven't bought it since like 2010 or something.

first thoughts are there are so many online options and shtein to do that it took me like 30 min to figure out how to play a regular game against the computer. i mean i'm sure the online stuff is cool but i just wanted to play a game.

played eagles vs falcons. won 77-42. bradford bruised his ribs in the second quarter but still came back to throw for 500 yards. demarco had 250 rushing. brandon graham had 4 sacks.

this game is super realistic.

My daughter likes Mine Craft so I hooked up my 360 and bought her a copy. I haven't played a video game in 2 years. Was near a gamestop the other day so I went in. Saw there's a new Dragon Age out. I'm a few hours in, it's ok. Very open world. Really didn't like it much at first but now it's growing on me. Nothing will ever compare to the story/characters of the first one.

If you like point and click shtein, check out the TellTale Walking Dead and Game of Thrones game. As good as the last couple seasons of Walking Dead have been, the game is insanely better than the show.

Played both on my iphone. Only thing I hate about those games is waiting months for the next episode to be released. You forget all the shtein that happened. Can't wait to play the final chapter of GOT.
