Is that deal only for next gen games or can I trade in old Xbox games too?

Zanshin

It's any games, but it's only eligible on games that have a $2 or more trade-in value.

NBA2K11 is like the Madden series in that you have to play the shtein out of it to get good. Its not a game you can pick up and get good at. You'll eventually get the jump shot down. Go into practice mode and they give you a meter if its early, late or just right. That's a good way to get warmed up before a game. My player mode is really cool if you haven't tried it yet. Go into youtube and search for my player strategies, it will save you a ton of time and frustration if you pick the right kind of player and drills to start off.

My only gripe with that game was passing. Don't know if it was addressed in 2K12 or not.

I just beat Battlefield 3 campaign. It was short but entertaining. I'm not sure why it got such bad reviews. I def. wanted a longer campaign at the end but it is what it is. I might have to rent MW3 just to play the campaign since I forgot how fun FPS campaigns can be.

Picked up MLB2k11 cheap, too. Any trick to the hitting timing? Or is it just a keep doing it and figure it out sort of thing?

Finished Assasins Creed Revelations last night. It was as good as the previous games. I like the way they wrap up Altair's story. Hard to imagine where they're going with the story with the way it ended. There's some speculation the next game will be played as Desmond in modern day New York. Not really sure I'm feeling that.

Our county Library just started carrying videogames.  I'm playing the MW3 campaign, pretty good so far.  The fact that the library has games just negated any chance i had of getting gamefly.  7 day rental, but i should beat most campaigns in 4 days

I'm guessing just console games and not PC games, yeah?

So Far.  They started with Xbox, Kinect games, and Wii.  They said they'll expand based on how well its received.

Libraries are great. Not sure how long they are for the world, but they are useful. Got a ton of my music from there, too.

While I'm in the thread, I finished Bulletstorm. Laid back, fun game. Lots of cursing, banter and shooting...sort of like an 80's buddy action flick.

I'm playing Red Faction: Armageddon now. Also good. A little repetitive, but a solid game overall. Then again I got both of those for less than $10 combined, so that factors into the fun quotient. They're both fun, but not full-price fun.

Anyone here play Alan Wake or LA Noire? I keep looking at those, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Worth playing?

Battlefield 3 has been a lot of fun online. The more you progress the better weapons, add ons etc...and it really makes a difference. It has been a nice change up from the Modern Warfare series.

Anyone playing Skyrim? I heard its amazing and will possess your soul. That is why I am staying away from it...

I know people who love Skyrim, but I don't think it's for me. Those open-world, walk around and talk to people games just suck up too much time for me. But everyone I've talked to who has played liked it.

Skyrim might literally be the best game I've ever played. Do I spend a lot of time playing it? Yes. Is it addictive like MMOs? No. There is just so much you can choose to do and it's all brilliantly written and well done. Supposedly, there are over 3,000 hours of content available. There is no one way to play it, or one way to "beat it".

One more great reason to pick up Skyrim, at least on PC.
