Yeah, that's how it works.  I was in the middle of a game of Halo, and it was game over....started back up and froze, and then it was the consistent rings.  Better to get it taken care of now.

I've sent mine in 3 seperate times. Twice I got it back in 2 weeks flat, and the box came in like 3 days. The third time though was a disaster. It took like 2 weeks for the box to arrive and 4 weeks for my Xbox to arrive. When I got it back it looked dinged up. Like they took parts from other broken down 360's to fix mine. Which is what they usually do.

But if your Xbox breaks twice you can put in a request for a new console. So if this happens again I'd try that.

I eventually bought a brand new one at Best Buy with their 2 year replacement warranty. No worries about shipping mine in to MS for at least 2 years and also the warranty for the 3 lights expired for my launch console anyway, so I'd have to pay. No way do I pay money to that company for something that is a lazy and faulty design. Plus with my experience both of my repaired consoles broke within 5 months of getting them back. Just not worth the repeat hassle.

took 5 days for my xbox to get to microsoft. hopefully have it back by Feb

well its been 12 days and my xbox is in route back to my door. not bad...

in the meantime I have fired up the old NES and actually got a emulator for my mac and found this online because its impossible to play with the keyboard:

I played when I got home from the bar. I hate video games but love zombies, I decided to get drunk and play the zombie video game. You know, take a chance on something special. So it was a big night for me.

Call of Duty World At War is fun if you like to see limbs blown off, and using flamethrowers. 

NHL09 is a must own game imo.

Madden is overrated, and i play NCAA09 over it
