when i was at game stop i asked if they had any Wii's in stock.  Guy said not until April.   Asked if they had PS3 in stock.... said oh yeah we have a couple of those if you want one.    Sony better get their act together.

Gamestop gets less Wii's than other big box outlets, or department stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, Walmart....ect..) so take that into account when looking for one.

The PS3 is very close to being on lifesupport. Developers are rumored to pull exclusives planned for the PS3...and the PS2 has outsold the PS3 since December 1. That's the worst sign. Nevermind that X-Box has outsold 2-1 in the same time period, and the Wii 4-1...6-1 depending on your source.

point is the Wii is the top seller. price and i think the fact that its just something new, with controller thats makes it so fun. my boy has 360, Wii AND PS3. He plays Wii the most. loser...

The PS3 is also 500 or 600 bucks, and has no big-time titles out now. Which is why it isn't selling like crazy. Once popular titles like Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 13, Devil May Cry, Killzone 2, etc come out for it, it'll start selling.

Their mistake was having awful launch titles. Not just that, but besides Resistance, there hasn't been a must-buy at all. Even months after release.

I personally like the system itself a lot. There are a few minor bugs, but the OS is very nice and easy to use, has like 4 USB ports, WIFI, storage for all types of media.

Its interesting though that the PS3 didnt knock out the competition like everyone thought it would.  Great system but its missing that big title to set it apart.

I haven't gone looking since then because we've already moved.  Except I'm staying in NY through end of month finishing up the job while she gets settled in Charm City.  It doesn't make sense to buy one up here right now.

I picked up GOW 2 last night & played it until 1:00 & am very, very happy.

In the the first 30 or so minutes of the game, you're fighting a 200 ft tall statue, banging 2 large-breasted girls in a bath & getting a glimpse of what I thought was shaved hoo hoo during a cut scene.
