the batman - watched about half of it and didnt care enough to finish it. what is the point of this? they did the GOAT trilogy like 10 years ago and now theyre just running it back...its the same thing just with different actors and villains and even if its good it can possibly be as good as nolan.

made nearly a bil at the box office so i guess the jokes on me because you simps eat this up
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Thought it was terrible and you saved 1 1/2 of your life turning it off. My regret was paying to see it in the theaters not realizing it was coming to hbomax. Wasn't a fan of the joker either

It took me probably 4-5 times until I finally made it through without taking a nap.  And I'm still not sure if I ever finished it.

The Gray Man was surprisingly fun for what it is, pretty generic 'agent on the run' storyline with nonstop gun fights and explosions.  Gosling makes a good action hero.  Chris Evans is great as the bad guy too - really hatable.

Manti Te'o doc was pretty good.  Made me feel bad for making fun of him 10 years ago.

Finally watched the new Top Gun.  Solid movie.  Jennifer Connolly is too skinny.

Vengeance.  Ryan from the office wrote and starred in it.  the first 5 minutes I almost turned it off, thought it was going to be extremely pretentious and douchey.  But it changes quickly and it ended up being really charming and an excellent movie.  Four stars

It's been 10 years?  Damn.

I don't post in here a ton...but, wow. Moonfall. Awful on so many levels. It's like a bot wrote a script.

Wakanda Forever - they did as good a job without Chadwick Boseman as could be done. Excellent movie and the Boseman tributes fit perfect.

New Indiana Jones movie trailer. Looks horrible

New Guardians of the Galaxy trailer. I'm sure it'll be great. If you have Disney + check out the holiday special...it's pretty farging hilarious.

Greyhound - Tom Hanks plays Captain of a convoy crossing the Atlantic black pit during WW2. Apple TV exclusive but phenomenal flick. Navy boner.

It was really good.  And obviously they made it for the money, but as these things go, it wasn't a waste of time.

what pissed me off the most was how it was always pouring rain. just nonstop downpours. in any realistic scenario, that much rain would result in catastrophic flooding. we get it. its dark and gloomy!

i also saw:
confess, fletch - jon hamm is more charming and likable than chevy but hes not as funny. so there are fewer laughs, still plenty, but fewer. the mystery angle of it all is more heightened and done better. id really like to see more of these but i cant imagine the audience for old nerdy comedy mystery books is very high. 3.5/5

she said - at the least its a good explainer for how journalists pull stories together. half the movie is them talking on the phone and gathering little bits of info here and there. not exactly meeting deep throat in the parking garage at night levels of drama lol. the climax of the movie is ashley judd agreeing to go OTR. like its not super interesting, but as someone who did it for a bit (though obviously not at this level), i dug it. i would do dirty things to zoe kazan. 3/5
