Slenderman is a meme that came out of a Something Awful photoshop contest back in '09.

How was it? Did they cover the part about where he came from?

Totally forgot that I had a point to make. Slenderman isn't some obscure thing from the deep web, you're just old. If you grew up with this stuff, or you're a huge fargin' nerd, you know everthing on the internet comes from one of three places; SA, 4chan, and very rarely Tumblr. After a while it aggregates through Reddit before it goes to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr.

Kids know what things are before the documentary hits. They know all the dumb shtein online. They know Pepe, doge, slenderman, dickbutt, and more importantly, they know they aren't real things.

Please enjoy salt bae when your aunt Caroline starts swooning over him next week.

Split - Wasn't sure what to expect, but Mcavoy absolutely nails it. Worth seeing the movie for his performance alone.

Watched Unbreakable last week because the lady friend said the two movies sort of tie in. Thought it was decent.

finally got around to seeing black mass - yeah it was good.  :fire

fences - the story is relatively boring but that may have had to do with me knowing what was going to happen since I was familiar with the play and it's entirely too long but easily worth seeing for the acting clinic Denzel and to a slightly lesser extent viola davis

did you nerds all go crazy for this? i mean it was fine. i liked the nonlinear storytelling, then it got too generic. the bad guy was dreadful. some funny lines. morena baccarin is too beautiful to be in this role....she is not believable at all as some lower class street whore. nobody who looks like that winds up there. 2.5/5
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

For an R Rated comic book movie with no budget it was fine, but the character can't carry a story by himself. If the sequel has someone decent playing Cable, they can afford more of the shootbangs, and it doesn't fall apart and get cancelled because Ryan Reynolds is a douche, it should be pretty good.

Sgt PSN

I really enjoyed it and thought it was very entertaining overall.  I'm probably in the rare majority who doesn't think Ryan Reynolds is awful and I thought he was an excellent choice for the character when he showed up in X-Men Origins, they just totally botched pretty much everything about him near the end of the movie.  They fixed all of that with this one and Reynolds nailed it, imo.

Thought Colossus had really tacky lines and TJ Miller just annoys the hell out of me and isn't funny.  And only 1 brief reference to chimichangas was kind of a crime.  But yeah, fun movie all in all.

Stephan Lang was the first person that came to mind when I heard that Cable would be in the sequel.

Rome

I loved it.  And I can't stand Ryan Reynolds even a little bit, but yes, he killed that role like he was born to play it.

i just dont get movies that you know how theyre going to end

Oh, they definitely farged up the ending. At the end of the story Deadpool should be standing in a heap of rubble while flat broke, outsmarted, without the girl, and probably with Spider-Man or Cable yelling at him.
