steve jobs - i could listen to arron sorkin dialogue for weeks hes so damn good...all the performances are excellent and the movie just good and became worse after i saw it when i read how it took so pretty big liberties with the real story

brooklyn - one of the best movies ive ever seen...coming of age romance that was picture perfect from the first scene to the great ending

The coolest part of Apocalypse is he's able to grow however big he wants. Aside from the mental sequence with the Professor they completely took that aspect out of it. Lame. Movie was blah.

agreed. big disappointment of a movie. plus we have to wait for another movie for magneto to find out that quicksilver is his son ? couldn't fit that in ?

They should do an independent Quicksilver movie. Easily the best character of the last two films. The guy that plays him nails the part too.

I saw Apocalypse in theaters and I remember being underwhelmed. I can't really recall very many specifics from the movie, which is probably the result of my being underwhelmed. I do remember being entertained, but I basically walked out of there feeling like I would have been fine waiting for it to come out on Netflix or HBO.

Just remembered that earlier this year, I posted somewhere in here a list of comic movies scheduled to come out over the next couple of years. 1 of them was Gambit which had an Oct 2016 release date, but obviously there's been no trailers or anything for it. So I googled it. Apparently the director or producer quit in the early stages, so production was delayed. Probably coming out in the 1st half of 2017. That's the good news. Bad news is that farging Channing Tatum is playing Gambit. Doesn't seem like a good fit at all.
