watched capt America 3 again this weekend, its clear DC will never be at the same level as marvel, movie wise.
If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.

if no country for old men and butch cassidy and the sundance kid had a baby and then that baby was adopted by the big short it would be hell or high water...it may not be as good as those or even any of those but its not terribly far off either...great movie

Yeah Foster was really good too.

I wanna see that one out about the two dudes running guns to the Middle East - seems like that's gotten good reviews too

i saw the trailer a long time ago and it looks absolutely horrible to me so i never looked at the reviews but rotten tomatoes tells me its at 60%

With the dearth of good movies I'll go see it bc sometimes I just want to go chill at a theater for a couple hours and be entertained. That looks decent

Hell or High Water I went on opening day. Dragged my sister to it with me.

And as much as I love Tom Hanks I've got no desire to see Sully

sully is cookie cutter clint eastwood mailing it in again stuff...its not going to be terrible but you know exactly how its going to go and not just because its a true story....its the classic example of a movie you have zero desire to see in the theater but will be really excited the first time you see that its coming up on hbo

And it's gonna be hollywooded up because there isn't much of an untold story or juicy details that were withheld.

Birds hit engine

It looks like it could be a decent movie had they not tried to make it so much of a comedy.  Also, I have a real hard time buying Jonah Hill as a farging gun runner.

yup....it looks so goofy especially for the topic and non fiction aspect of it...reminds of that horrible clooney goat movie from a few years ago....tina fey did something equally as dumb looking recently too...and then there was the terrible bill murray rock the kasbah or whatever it was

You talking about The Men Who Stare At Goats?  I actually enjoyed that movie quite a bit.  Thing with that one is that even though it's also based on actual events, it's still such a far fetched idea that I don't think very many people considered it even remotely factual at all, which means you can basically do whatever you want with it to make it entertaining.  A based-on-a-true-story about gun running in Iraq is so much more believable....until you put Jonah Hill in it.  Now it's just Superbad in the farging desert.

No idea which Tina Fey movie you're talking about, but that Rock The Kasbah jawn looked pretty funny from what I remember about the previews.  Haven't seen it but I'll get around to it sooner or later and I'll probably enjoy it because Bill Murray is the got damn goat.

we will have to agree to disagree...i guess we have exact opposite tastes in movies...cause that rock the kasbah and the goat movie looked unbelievably hilarious to me and not in a funny way....they looked like razzie nominees...so did the jonah hill movie but out of those three to me that one looked the best....the bill murray one looked like a comedy sketch from snl or something making fun of billy murray for doing a horrible movie

You're big time into documentaries, so it would only make sense that based-on-a-true story movies are probably going to strike a nerve with you if they aren't done well.  As for me, just farging entertain me baby.
