Great episode tonight, I think that map/code thing is a sign that all the Dharma stations/projects are related to one master plan. Ending was stellar, I knew all along Gale was a shady farg trying to get inside the Losties camp to spy.

This came from someone on the EMB, but if you look at the symbol at the 8 o'clock it looks like the God of Fertility:



Pretty sure thats the word Fertility underneath it too.

Okay, here's a High resolution large pic of the map. If you look at the bottom, it says 'P.R.D.' which stands for 'Planned Rotation Date' meaning the map was probably drawn by Desmond who was expecting his relief.

Cool. I checked on the latin phrases, and here's what I found:

Ut sit magna, tamen certe lenta ira deorum est - The wrath of the gods may be great, but it certainly is slow

Sursum corda - Lift up your hearts

Credo nos in fluctu eodem esse - I think we're on the same wavelength

Cogito ergo doleo - I think therefore I am depressed

Hic sunt dracones - Here be dragons. (Expression often used by old mapmakers and placed at the edge of known areas on maps.)

Liberate te ex inferis - Save yourself from hell

Malum consilium quod mutari non potest - It's a bad plan that can't be changed.

References to cerebus are interesting. In mythology, Cerebus is the 3-headed creature that guards the entrance to Hell.

And an interesting reference to Black Rock on there, too.
