Got a link? All the ones I've come across have been taken down.

**SPOILER**
I heard that Hurley leaves the Island to Walt and explains the polar bears to him. What explaination was there and what other highlights are there?

MDS

I don't care anymore about any of this
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Hurley doesn't explain the polar bears to him. Its explained via DVD.

Got any links where I don't have to give my credit card number?

If it's not The Wire, it's not worth watching.

It asked me for it and I'm pretty sure it was taken down by the time I clicked on your link. The one I posted was up lastnight because my roommate watched it, but I'm pretty sure it's down now. The whole thing seemed a little forced and unnecessary. They should have done an hours worth with some island footage.

MMH

Why?  Based on the finale, the island didn't mean a farging thing.

SD

Because the island is the basis of the show, they could have showed them on the island shutting down the other Dharma stations, maybe had some footage of them in the future with another plane crashing or boat arriving, found a chamber with Egyptian artifacts etc., instead they went the unimaginative route and explained things fan boys wanted to know like the food drops.

MMH

I would argue, again based on the finale, that the island doesn't mean shtein.  They disposed of that storyline so quickly that they didn't even bother to try to make any logical sense.  So they could get to that ridiculous love fest for the final hour and a half.  Ugh.

the epilogue was pointless

we all knew 6 years ago that they made this show and threw out all these crazy questions and stories without really having any kind of ending or answer to them. why is it shocking now that still nothing makes sense?

the fun part about lost was the ride. thats what you take out of it. and its been over.

maybe the best part in all of this are the nerds (possibly including sd) who spent 3000 hours breaking down each frame of the show and typing up ridiculous theories to what the island is and what this thing is and what this person said and bla bla bla.

its a friggin tv show. it was fun to watch. now its over. get on with your lives.

SD

I had my theories but I always knew it would be a show that was left up to interpretation. Even with Star Wars I just never got into nerd battles over why certain things occurred. Like you said, it's pointless just like the epilogue.

MDS

it wasnt interpretation

they never really had any kind of idea how to wrap things up so they paralleled a fairly predictable island reality (jack sacrifices himself, hurley takes over, some characters die, others get off) with some purgatory bullshtein thats essential message was to "let go."

i.e. the show is over and we dont know what else to do, so let it go and move on cause its just a friggin tv show
