Susquehanna Birder

Good point. It makes sense that he is the corpse in question.

The obit was not for a "Ben Linus," but he had all those fake passports so it could have been under one of his alias'.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

This week's episode is friggin' cool.

SD_Eagle5

What a great episode. Best show ever.

Susquehanna Birder

Watching the tease for next week...things will really be picking up!

SD_Eagle5

They basically answered 3 seasons worth of Desmond with this one episode. The explaination was unreal. I think the red head chick gets it next week.

the show hit an all time high with that episode. I take back whatever I said about it not being good by going back and forth with the new characters....now I'm glad they did. Good call SD

Here's a good explaination of where the show is heading:
QuoteWe learn Jack's fate: The finale introduced the flash forward and showed us Jack's (Matthew Fox) slide into alcoholism when he leaves the island. "The flash forward is part of an overall plan for the show," says Damon Lindelof, co-executive producer. "Season 4 is about who gets off the island and the fact that they need to get back. Season 5 is about why they need to get back, and season 6 is about what happens when they get back."

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

yea great episode. everything conveniently worked out, but a great story and some solid answers help.

the show was supposed to stop after 7 episodes, then air 6 more to wrap up the season beginning april 17. but they will air 8 instead, then 5 beginning april 24.

so essentially:
mar. 5- 9pm
12- 9 pm
17- last one before break, 9pm
apr. 24- returns, 10pm
may 1- 10pm
8- 10pm
15- 10pm
22- finale, 10pm

I'll give it to her today...multiple times.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

Susquehanna Birder

Hahaha...I was thinking that, too.

PhillyGirl

OK, I'm kind of confused.

I have ONLY watched up until the Desmond episode (DVRed all of the episodes and got up to there today).

First...Did Kate call her son "ERIC" or "AARON"? I just had a total 20 minute conversation with a girlfriend of mine who insisted that she said Aaron. I replayed it like 5 times and each time I swear she said Eric.

Second...Why the hell did Jack say only 8 survived when he was testifying for Kate? And why was he all clean shaven and working at the hospital in that flash forward when the one at the end of last season showed him a drunken, bearded mess?

And seriously...Ben fixing up Sayid farged me up.

MDS

she said aaron. he is one of the oceanic six.

we dont know why jack said that only 8 survived. that is to be explained. the flashforwards have been in and out of time order. a basic time stamp is hurley's flashforward happened a little after they got off the island and the "we have to go back" scene happened after that.

Aaron is Claire's child. Apparently Kate brought him back as part of the "rescue." There is sure to be some more back story on how/why that happened.

Jack's testimony supports the idea that the survivors are sworn to keep the actual events secret, perhaps out of respect for the safety the remaining people on the island.
