A security system, of course. :paranoid

I think they're all 'lost' on a resort island and all they're hearing is the chopping down of the useless trees just outside of their sight line to make room for more condos. I predict that in the season finale the hot brunette will comfort the hot blonde over the loss of her brother (who she occasionally had sex with) by presenting her with a cheerio to bark at.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

See, now I'll just be nothing but disappointed with the real finale.

Well the show is going to last 3-5 seasons, so don't expect any real closure during the season finale...most likely they'll answer some questions but in the Lost tradition, present a few more.

Of course. I think they'll answer more on what went on in the plane before the crash, and very little about the island. We might find out HOW they got there, but WHY they are there is probably due in the series finale.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The how is easy. Didn't you see The Truman Show?

The man. The myth. The legend.

How this show bores anyone is beyond me. I'm not sure what more you could want from a show.

Agreed.

We were lucky enough to be camping about a mile down the beach with my sons Indian Guides group(boy scouts without the rules - instead of firewood we collect cold 12 oz. cans ;))from where they film Lost last month.  We hiked down on a Sunday morning and we were able to check out the set.  It was very cool with all the airplane parts and make shift little shelters.  The dude on security was freaking out when we showed up.  We told him we were a father/son group and just wanted to look at the set.  He was not to thrilled.  We asked him to take a group photo and he wanted nothing to do with us.  We quickly got the hint.  They film the entire show on Oahu.   It's funny for those of us who live here as we crack up when they use the Convention Center as the Sydney Airport, a downtown Honolulu Church as a Scottish Cathedral, a local neighborhood as Hurley's neighborhood.

If I can ever figure out how to download pictures into this site I'll post some from our "uninvited" visit to the set.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

It's an excellent show--one of the most inventive, well-written, well-acted, and beautifully directed and "told" series in recent memory, and the first one I've found to be extremely addictive since "The X Files".

Can't wait to see the two hour season-finale this Wednesday.   :yay

RE: Kate's initial transgression, I think they may have thrown us a clue when her Mother freaked out when she went to visit her in the hospital. My suspicion is that her original crime was against a member of her family, and that she'd been on the run since she was a teenager...perhaps murder of an abusive Father? Then again, with this show? Her Mom may have just been delusional from Chemo/cancer.

Makes sense.  Good insight.

Probably, yea. I think that everyone on the island has some sort of issue with their father (we know Jack, Walt, Jin, Sun, Locke and Sawyer already do).

Anoying, yes. But the show is going to be around for awhile....their not goin answer everything now. Their just goin create more and more questions. The season ended with some major questions needed to be answered, no who shot jr moment, but still some really good stuff.

I liked it. Dissapointing that we didnt get the MAJOR CLIFFHANGER they were pimping out, but still good. September cant come soon enough.
