Should be Saturday...goddamn no reason to have two days in between when no travel days are involved.

MDS

no one watches tv on saturday
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

great game 1.....let do it again sunday

Yup.  I hope this goes 7 just like the Pacers series, with mostly closely contested games.

Sgt PSN

Also, been meaning to comment on this for a while but keep forgetting.....

How small time is the Miami crowd?  Whenever they start doing that Whoooah oh-oh-oh-oooohhh chant from 7 Nation Army, it just reeks of a college crowd.  And they do it like 30 times a game too.

if they didnt do anything at all people would bitch like crazy, now they are into the game and chanting they still get choked out. damned if they do damned if they don't.

what do you want them to do just clap and yell go team go?  chant to a maximum of 3 times?

Most of that crowd went clubbing on South Beach after the game.

I want them to chant H-E-A-T, HEAT HEAT HEAT!!  I think it'd be nice for that style of chant to actually be used in support of a good team for a change.  Making up sounds to go to a guitar riff, or whatever the farg it is is one of the most annoying things a crowd can do.  Same thing goes for that awful techno-type song where the crowd just goes "oh-oh-oh-oh.  oh-oh-ohohohoh-oh-oh.  Busch league shtein for drunk college kids.

Or at the very least, they could sing some of Nelly's "It's getting hot in hurr."  You know, because of the Heat.

its not even college kids its middle aged non sports fans

its disgraceful....whats makes it worse is that they arent even the first pro sports team to co-opt the song....the ravens started it a few years ago....of course no one in miami knows about or cares about sports enough to know that
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Sgt PSN

I know I've heard it at other arenas and stadiums.  Didn't know Ravens fans did it first.  I honestly thought it originated in college sports because that's where I first heard/noticed it.

ice grillin you

it def started in college

ravens were the first pro team...probably because univ of md was one of if not the first college team to play it all the time

raven fans also shake their keys for big plays like we did in high school....no lie

Wow...a 23-3 heat run.

Terrible job by the Spurs.

Geowhizzer

Wow.  The last time I checked in it was 58-58.

Bron is just off the charts good.  Now that he's stopped being kind of a douche over the last 2 years, I can finally fully appreciate him.

He stunk it up on the offensive end most of the night, but he was still playing good defense, grabbing some boards, blocking shots and finding open guys who were actually hitting their shots.  But during that 33-5 run, he had 11 points to go along with a few assists, boards and that block on Splitter.  Point is that even though he only got hot offensively for a short period of time, when he finally did, the entire team responded accordingly and they blew a closely contested game wide open and turned it into a laugher.

I think I must have dozed off shortly before the Heat emptied their bench, which I read was with about 5min left in the game.  I think there was like 7:something left and they went to commercial and I don't think I was awake by the time they came back from the break.
