it has been a field day for lebron....problem is there isnt a single player on the rest of the roster that would start on any of the remaining teams

Wow...I don't even remember that. Shows how much I really cared. Here all along I was thinking he might make his 1st NBA finals.

It goes the same for Superbowls for me. I don't watch unless the Eagles are playing in it with the exception of this past one.

the NBA could really use an Orlando Magic/ Denver Nuggets showdown in the Finals to boost their popularity and ratings

They'd have Howard versus Melo in that series, so it really wouldn't be awful.  No doubt that the thought of Kobe versus Lebron had network Jews in New York praying to Satan.

you dont set your dvr or stop flicking your remote to see Howard jump really high for his 15th rebound unless you live in Orlando, nor does Melo bring any kind of draw unless hes playing against another scoring machine opposite him

Im big into the nba and I might only catch a glimpse of that matchup (though it wont happen anyway) just to see basketball in general and shut it off

they have a lot of momentum going in, but yea, it would be brutal

the ot game from tues night hit 10 mil which is the most watched game since game 7 2002 west finals lakers/kings. thats more than any lcs game from 08. so basically, like mlb, the right matchup (kobe, lebron, red sox, cubs, yanks) can mean good numbers.

the problem with the nba and mlb is they both have 2 or 3 teams that are marketable and the rest are useless

god I hope the Magic win the championship...not that Orlando deserves a title, but I can't stand the Lakers and their fake ass fans. They're neck n neck with the Celtics as far as teams I hate.

pau gasol is a fraud of epic porportions but he actually might be the difference in this series...id use him in a lot of sets without bynum on the floor to try and get howard away from the baskett

I went to the game last night.   Amazing win.  Howard was unstoppable and I can't believe they didn't hack the shtein out of him more.   And Lebron is a Hoyda flag for not giving it up to the Magic after the game.  Spoiled little funhole.
