The Hughes signing was great for the Cavs. James and Hughes can both play point and that allows them to take advantages of matchups. Plus, they already tried to get Redd/Allen and those guys went for more money/years. They are gonna have to overpay to get talent.

Washington Post reporting that the Wizards are talking trade with the Lakers for Kwame Brown. LA would supposedly give up Caron Butler and one of the following - Divac, Devean George or Chucky Atkins.

The Pacers, Knicks and Hawks are looking into him as well.

Wizards are bringing in Donyell Marshall for a visit...

Wizards also met with Flip Murray and could sign both him and Marshall...

Clippers have reportedly agreed with Cat Mobley for 5 years $42M

Kings are looking into Bonzi Wells...

Cavs are looking at Marko Jaric...

Nets met with Stromile Swift and would also like Donyell Marshall if they can't get Swift or Abdur-Rahim.

Looks like the Sixers have a lot of comp for Marshall...

Now you see why the Magic had to trade Mobley last year.  5 years & $42M for a guy who is nothing more than a one trick pony is ludicrous.

Sure, Doug Christie was a disaster and almost anyone else would have been a better pick, but still, $8.4M/year for Mobley is ridiculous.  It's funny how the cheapest team in the NBA would pay that for him though.

Mobley has signed with the Clippers

Jerome James signed with the Knicks....

Like I said to my boy during the playoffs -- Jerome James just earned himself a wad o' cash and that some dumbass GM would overpay him.

Looks like Isiah was that dumbass.

$29M for him? :-D

Looks like Riley is seriously flirting with the idea of comming back to the coach the Heat.  Van Gundy is not the reason that they were not in the finals, so why fix what ain't broke. I don't know what I will do without seeing Van Gundy courtside. I can't help but laugh at his uncanny resemblance to Mr. Potato Head.

Dumars... please please hire Flip Saunders to coach the Pistons to a 45 win season. I will farging move to Detroit, buy tickets behind the bench, and watch this colossal failure up close.

It is a failure waiting to happen. Saunders preaches zone while Larry preaches man. Remember how bad that team was without Larry? Sixers blew them out by 20+. The Pistons will not make the Finals without him. At the same time as great of a coach as Larry is, if he gets to coach the Knicks he'll be walking into a death trap. He has no chance of coaching that mess into the playoffs. Marbury, Q Rich, Tim Thomas jacking 3s all day will end his coaching career 40 games into the season. I don't even know if he'll coach that team. He's not healthy enough to handle that media town and disaster of a team in his condition.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

Nets close to getting SAR.

I thought they signed him already.  Saw yesterday that they reached a deal.
