I can make fun of them because of the loads of "fans" I know from LA that make me vomit when they talk about their Championships. I know they would have laughed if someone handed them tickets to a game at the Forum.

No true Lakers fan would have laughed at free tickets...let alone tickets to the Lakers mecca aka the Forum.

There was nothing like the Forum. Staples center wishes it was half what the forum was. You could have nosebleeds and still be in the game...not at staples...no binoculars, no clue what's happening.

*Lakers deserve to get beat the way they did for not performing. The second time JJ Barea made a trip inside the key should have been his last...not the last game of a sweep. Not having a viable point guard killed the lakers. Somehow...this team forgot how to play defense. Coaches forgot how to prepare and coach.

All the talk is that the Lakers make a move after next season for Howard.  I think they should forget Howard and go after CP3, Deron Williams or Westbrook.  PG is the most glaring need on that team.

IGY defending the Lakers is probably the worst moment of his posting career.

Bynum should be suspended 10-20 games.  This is the third time he's thrown an elbow at someone driving the lane with no intent to make a play on the ball.   Like Tirico said.. farging bush league.

fans or not, a game at staples center was one of the coolest sports experiences outside of a philly moment that i've ever had. the whole thing is such a production.

they wouldn't have beaten the thunder anyway. although westbrook is single handedly blowing that series for them.  don't throw up a fadeaway without even looking to pass when you have the leagues leading scorer on your team. his under 2 minute play has been god awful.

Thought that Thunder/Grizzlies game would never end.  Lead to a great workout at the gym as I had to hang around another 30 minutes for that to end. 

Grizzlies just wouldn't go away.  Durant is so awesome.  Westbrook with 40 tonight.  Both teams are going to be hurting come Wednesday.

yeah that game was fun as hell. i love the thunder but imagine what the grizzlies would be like now if rudy gay wasn't done for the year.

i think either of these teams gives miami a legit run for their money.

A couple of things that are hard to see from that photo:

-- the "dc" logo on the shorts is the hand and basketball from the old Bullets logo
-- the vertical part of the "d" in "wizards" is the Washington Monument
-- the bottom of the shorts stripe forms a "W" for Washington
-- there's a secondary logo on the back above the name that's a basketball with a star and another Washington Monument
