Joe Johnson is close to being dealt to Atlanta for 2 firsts and Diaw. Big blow to Suns which is a team built to win now. They already lost Q Rich so they have no 2 guard now.

The Joe Johnson trade is complete. Suns can kiss their NBA title hopes goodbye. They have zero shot at competing with the Spurs now.

The Heat are about to improve drastically. The Heat are about to get Walker, Jason Williams and James Posey. That is one hell of a deal for Miami. Posey is a very good defender, and Walker is an upgrade over Haslem. Wade, Posey, Shaq, Haslem. Jason Williams is a head case, but Shaq will keep his scrawny ass in line. He is a far better scorer than Damon Jones and can penetrate. When this deal does down Miami becomes the best team in basketball IMO.

The Grizzlies get Marcus Banks and Eddie Jones and the Celtics get Dorrell Wright and Earl Watson.

The New Orleans part doesn't make sense.  Rasual Butler and Kirk Snyder for Roberto Duenas?!

It doesn't, but it doesn't make sense for Utah either. Snyder is a 2nd year player this upcoming season, and was just a rookie. Why in the hell would you trade him, and Curtis Borchardt who is still very young, and Raul Lopez who is very young as well? For friggin OSTERTAG! He's gonna retire in a few years and can't play a lick anymore. Are they insane? New Orleans got some nice players that will contribute to a young rebuilding team, and Boston basically gets a few role players that they might be able to develop, money, and picks. Andre Emmett isn't a bad acquisition for Miami either. He was good in college, so you never know. The biggest question is, will Walker and Williams gun and ruin their chemistry. They added the talent, but will the chemistry be there? They have all the tools to win, and are clearly better on paper in every area.
