me and my girl drove up to oregon over the weekend and we stopped for gas in bakersfield, ca and i noticed this dude walking to his car parked at the pump next to ours and he was with his daughter that couldn't have been more than 3 or 4 years old.  he started the car up and he was blasting nwa's "boyz in the hood"

nothing says "quality daddy/daughter time" like listening to gangsta rap.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

The first Tull album I heard was Songs From the Wood, which I liked.  Then I heard Aqualung, and was blown away.  Great band.

I'm geeky enough to love Broadsword and the Beast

Finally got around to converting some of my old hip hop shtein from albums to mp3's.  Had NWA's Express Yourself on a while ago.  My daughter came downstairs and said, what is that - that's awesome, Dad.

I started playing Beastie Boys, Grandmaster Flash, and P.E. after that and she sat there with her eyes bulging out of her head.  She'd never heard any of it before.

all classics, I've shared some of the clean stuff with my kids and they love it.
