I got pissed off and smashed my iPod against the wall yesterday.  It was an iPod MINI and it kept breaking down on me.  It would freeze up and I'd have to let the battery go all the way to zero and then recharge it.  I had to to it like 10 times in the last month, so I said farg it and smashed it to bits.

Idiotic, I know.

Still fun, though.  I'm off to Best Buy to get a new one this afternoon.

Did you try pushing the top of the round thing while holding the center button for 10 seconds? Mine would do the same thing and that fixed it.

Beastie Boys-  The Mix Up

Its all instrumental, no lyrics, i really like it especially compared to their last crap cd

I haven't gotten over to Best Buy yet.  I listened to all the 30-second previews on Amazon, though.  Sounds excellent.

There isn't a "Fell In Love With A Girl" type hit on it that I can hear, though.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
