perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

It was their first album, honestly its not anywhere as good as Deja entendu or The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me, but it has some 6 great songs.  I still love listening to Your Favorite Weapon and Thursday-Full Collapse

I've heard of them and I might of actually saw them before, but they would of been opening for Albert React. AR is another local band who is kick ass.

MURP

This is part music related, part politics and part horseshtein.   I am reading an artilce in a metal ezine exploring the African and Middle Eastern Metal scene or lack there of.   They had a brief interview with the sole member of "Black Emperor" in the Afghanistan Baluchistani Black Metal "scene."   He has been impaired from shipping out his bands CD's to the rest of the world.   And the reason (and I quote):

""I cannot send CDs from here. The American Pakistani secret
intelligence agencies have banned this service to the people,  so  no
audio / video data can be sent through mail from Afghan / Baluchistan
other than previewed and checked wedding videos. They claim that mail
can be used for terrorism"

awful.  Sometimes it is a kick in the balls to see how suppressed other societies are.

phattymatty

man that sucks.  that probably costs him like 4 CD sales a year.

MURP

fortunatley for the internet, you can download anything!!#%#@%@#%  and he managed to get 40 cd's out to reviewers.  ;)

Father Demon

Guns-n-Roses for the last hour.  It's always good for a pick-me-up.

So is that what you call a getaway?
Tell me what you got away with
Cause I've seen more spine in jellyfish
I've seen more guts in eleven year old kids
Have another drink and drive yourself home
I hope there's ice on all the roads
And you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt
And again when your head goes through the windshield
