Ghostface - Ironman (classic, never gets old)
Guru - Version 7.0, Street Scripture
Juelz Santana - Lyrical Crack (possibly the worst ish to ever come out of my headphones, couldn't listen to more than 5-6 songs before it made me angry)
Mylo - Destroy Rock N Roll
Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People say I Am, That's What I'm Not

matty... Ironman = masterpiece.  One of my top 5.  Just listened to it maybe 2 weeks ago.  :yay

agreed, ironman and tical are my top 2 solo wu albums

and i like cappadonna, his lyrics are bordering on retarded most of the time, like milk this cow the best way we know how, but i like his style

Followed closely by liquid swords.

1. 36 chambers
2. iron man
3. ob4cl
4. liquid swords
5. wu forever
6. return to 36 chambers
7. tical

i never cared for tical...in order to capatilize on methods mans popularity at the time the album was rushed out and used already made vaulted throwaway rza beats...which is why the beats given ghost and rae were so much better...

speaking of...XXl magazine periodically has issues that run large stories on the making of classic albums...last year one was done for ob4cl...if you can find it its a great read...they also did one on each of biggies albums...great stuff

cappadonna excels as a guest on other peoples songs...but he struggles big time to carry his own album or even song...even tho the pillage had a few ridiculously dope tracks...slang editorial and everything is everything cheif among them

i just have good memories from tical as it was one of the first solos to come out, smoking woos in a car in the woods when i was like 16 or 17

and ob4cl is a good one but out of all of them reakwon is near the bottom of my list.  he just doesn't ever make any sense, his beats are hot and the stuff he does with ghost is always good, but trying to understand what he's trying to say bothers me sometimes, like he just throws in random words just so they rhyme

liquid swords is probably 3rd on my list of solo albums, i lost a little respect for gza lately though, i saw him live last year and he wasn't good at all, didn't do many of his own tracks, did mostly snippets of his verses from wu albums, maybe because he figured the crowd at 930 wouldn't know his shtein but he then ranted about how real mcs don't freestyle, they write, then he proceeded to freestyle for like 20 min, with shtein that he obviously came up with beforehand

speaking of ghostface, just announced at 930:

M 4/10 Ghostface Killah Late Show! 10pm Doors

Pretty much agree on all counts.  Only thing... I'd put Swords over ob4cl.  GZA is just a lot deeper... and kinda like matty mentioned... there's times when you just don't know what the farg Raekwon is talking about.
