Who would you start at RB in week 2?

Chad Pennington vs. Chargers or Marc Bulger vs. Atlanta?  I was initially thinking Pennington since he had a good week last week and has a favorable matchup with the chargers but will the Jets just run and not need a big offensive output from Pennington?

Pennington in 2002 vs. Chargers 28 of 37 253 yards 1 pass TD 1 rush TD.

Bulger in 2003 vs. Atlanta 23 of 34 352 yards 2 pass TD's 2 INT.

Pennington IMO.   Chargers defense is very young and will get torched this week IMO.  Bulger's stats don't look bad last week (272 yards, 1 TD 1 INT) but he played MUCH worse than the stats showed and that was at home vs. the Cruds.  I watched a lot of that game in the morning because my pops is a Cruds fan and he looked pretty bad.
The Rams fans were BOOOing him it got so bad at times.

After watching that game and looking at his stats on paper, I am confused.  He didn't have a good game at all and yet his stats are pretty solid.

IMO, go with Pennington.

Pennington looks sharp...hard to sit him until he proves otherwise, I would think.

I wouldn't start either player at RB.   ;)

Following the trend here, I'd go with Pennington as well.  He's got some quality receivers to throw to, a solid running game and is going against a weaker defense.

Bulger didn't look too impressive last week vs Arizona and while he's capable of putting up big numbers, he seems to be a little more inconsistant than Pennington.  Also, while I was watching the Jets game on Sunday, they flashed a stat of Pennington's up on the screen that said out of the last 30some trips to the redzone, Pennington has thrown 28 td's and 0 ints.   :o

Thanks fellas.  Will go with Pennington.  Good luck to everyone in FF this week.
