Nice board......but is it my piece of shtein computer or is anybody else having a problem reading any other of the messages?

For example:

PG's post above mine shows only half her response on my screen....there is a scroll bar on the right side of the page that allows me to scroll down and see the rest of her message.......not much of a problem there........

However there are other messages around the board that I can only read a few lines of what is being said and there is no scroll bar that will allow me to see thre rest of the message...... ???

For example:  Going Long's message right above PG's ends with:  "it'll take a little time"....that's all I have on my screen.......

My only trouble so far has been when I hit the post button and it says that I've timed out, which I haven't.

If I find a way to turn that off I'll do it. If not, we can only hope it's fixed in the next version.

Is it me or is the MB loading very slow? I have no problesm with any other sites tonight. My PMs are cleared out too. ???

PhillyGirl

Its not you. Its been slow for me all day today too. I thought it was my new browser (just switched from IE to Mozilla), but I guess not.

Its been timing out for me all night.

The host that we just switched to, which came highly recommended, has been acting up all over the place. At least one of the F2FA sites has been down for close to three days, and the guy who runs it is rightfully pissed.

I've been having a ton of trouble getting the old domain name to point here, and after hearing about that I don't think it would be a bad idea to keep it pointed at the old site just in case.

I think you should too...mainly because people visiting it will think the site is gone for good.

It looks like the DNS servers are listed correctly in the whois lookups...but I suspect that the hostitnow DNS servers are not aware of the domain name and IP address relationship. You probably need to tap them to update their DNS server(s) accordingly.

I have been unable to connect to the board for most of the morning (at least consistently).

They're pretty backed up right now with requests to find out why so many sites are down. We're pretty low on the priority list this week.

Damn, new host means no more calling up and yelling at ProHosting? Shucks.
