draft was submitted, league is open.

oh yeah, you all suck and consider any win you get against me as pity points.  :evil

RomeyRome

I put out a couple trade proposals, so those of you that were contacted let me know what you think and get back to me with a yes, no, or counter offer.

MURP

:-D  guess your draft strategy didnt work out to well eh?   ;D

No it worked out fine(minus David Boston), I have easily one of the top teams on paper, but I want to strengthen it.

RomeyRome

This coming from the guy who has a rookie RB on what should be a bottom feeder team, and the other RB on a completely decimated team who is openly giving up in order to rebuild the team and their cap situation. ;)

MURP

yep, 2 young RB's who will be given tons of carries every game.  Damn, why did I draft them?  :D

RomeyRome

:-D  If you say so.  I can't wait to see what they do when their teams are playing from behind, with questionable Olines, and struggle scoring TDs. ;)

mussa

Sorry to bust ur bubble kids, but my team is going to kill.  SO... :flipoff

hmmmm.   Ever hear of an NFL RB in that situation named Tomlinson?     or how about Fred Taylor... or maybe Rudi Johnson... or Dominic Davis...  ;D

Tomlinson up here

The rest of those down here.  We're talking oranges and apples here.  Yeah these other guys (your RBs) will get 1,000 yards and 5 TDs so good for you. ;)

RomeyRome

You basically have two RBs at your WR position, so obviously that helps the mediocrity and question marks you have at RB, but then again I have basically 2 RBs at my WR position (your WRs are just above mine I'll give you that on paper), but I also have some fantasy football MVP 2 years running named Priest Holmes who will continue to take all Green's TDs. ;)  Not to mention a top tier TE who if healthy can put up WR like numbers vs. your rookie TE who just now got to camp, but too bad camp is over.

MURP

yeah yeah.

lets take a look at your RB's.  yeah you have Holmes.  Nice luck getting a top 3 pick there.

then you have Eddie George, who will get his carries but is a washed up has been and will be overtaken by Julius Jones.  Then there is Warrick Dunn who will lose tons of carries to TJ Duckett.   Then there is Duce, who is still gonna split time with the Bus.  None of them will rack up much in fantasy ball.   Then you have Owens, who will no doubt lose production in the Eagles offense no matter how you slice it.   Hines Ward is a stud... but my WR's are still better.   ;D   Shockey is always injured and has 2 career TD's.  Winslow will have two TD's by week 4.   ;D   Then we have my kicker and QB who are better.

:D

Well you have some valid points no doubt.

But my team is ready to battle either way with talent from top to bottom.  A large portion of my season is banking on Marc Bulger of course, but with his full first full offseason and season of being the only guy, with what should be a bad defense and a very quality passing game it's not a bad 5th round pick for QB.

IMO Duce will be the main guy.  He will get most of the carries, almost all of the receptions, will be main back + 3rd down back.  Is it a risk?  Yes it is but I'm willing to take that risk.  Bettis is done, he has been done for years.

I have a kicker who is one of the top 10 kickers every year, playing in a dome with an offense that should improve mightily with the return of Vick, and I got him after the draft, besides who cares about kickers.

EG, Dunn, etc. are all just for depth, while your RBs are HUGE question marks from almost every angle.

You can laugh all you want, but if Bulger does what I think he will, then my team can compete with any other team IMO.

Bulger is going to be murder behind that OL.

Pace is holding out...again.
Turley has a back injury.

Lights out.
