Troystewart, after looking at your team on the Final Roster thread it looks like whoever said you had the best looking team was right. Looks like you have pro-bowlers at every position.

Considering were I picked (14), I'm not too bad off I guess. A lot of guys I wanted were gone by the time it came around to me though. In the  first couple of rounds, it seemed like half my list was burnt before I even picked. :'(

I'll have to agree that right now, on paper that Troy's team looks the most solid.  His QB and RB situation with Garcia/Brady and LT/Martin looks like the best 4 players 'collectively' on one team and those are the positions that matter.  His WRs are questionable, but solid, his defense is very questionable with all the youth, but this isn't a league where defense matters much, and his TE is mediocre, but so is everyones team other than the top 3. His kicker is solid.

On paper, Troy you had a very solid draft.  Good stuff. ;)

PG this will make you happy with one of your late picks. 8)

A couple notes from the story:
QuoteThe possibility of actually having Foster play in the regular season has many within the Panthers on guard. In fact, most are trying to downplay how quick he has looked. But last week after going full speed, full contact and actually getting into a fight with linebacker Lester Townes on his second hit of the day, Fox needs to muster all his strength not too get too excited.

"I'm telling you if we get this kid back, he's going to open a lot of eyes," said Fox. "We don't want to force him into things too quickly, but so far he has passed every test. There has been nothing he has not been able to do. We're having him work once a day, but the real test will be when we put him in there in one of those preseason games.

"But if he's fine, he's going to have a very big impact on our team this year." (Coach Fox quote)

A late pick for you that could pay dividends in terms of RB depth for you later in the season. ;)  This is good to read, i always hate to see a player get hurt, especially before his career even starts.

BTW did anyone hear that Hugh collapsed during practice in Jax?  Don't think it was serious and I don't think he was even hospitalized, but man players are droppin like flies out there.

PhillyGirl

He didn't "collapse". He felt a little sick and walked to the "cooling room".

Way to blow it up there NB.

TROY PICK ALREADY!!!!!!

Settle down, live-wire.  I don't see what the big deal is - my draft is over.

PhillyGirl

Mine isn't. And Troy's been up for a long time...and I think he posted on another draft thread while he was up.

PhillyPhreak32, you sneaky bastich! You took troystewarts backup QB just before his turn! And Garcia with that nasty hemmoraging and bulging discs and whatnot! I can't believe you did that ... in this round ... because I was gonna do it next round!  :P

Good work PP32.  ;)

:-D  :paranoid

The pickin's are slim at QB and I kept getting shafted earlier in the draft, so i had to pick Rattay and now I pray Shanahan can resurrect Plummer's career.

I've noticed that there are some players that werent' drafted who warrent keeping close tabs on during the season. If you are interested in one, I guess it just depends on who claims what player first. Will there be a thread for roster moves and what not?
