With 2024 coming to an end, I propose we retire the following fad phrases:

"locked in" as in, "The coach has his team locked in for a divisional game.."
"low key" as in, "I'm low key happy that my Dad's car broke down because now I get to ride in my uncle's Tesla.."

Had a fun conversation recently regarding veganism and pets.

I'm not convinced that you can be both vegan AND have pets.  I am convinced that a lot of self-proclaimed vegans are no different than other religions:  calling themselves something while willfully ignoring the inconvenient parts of their professed doctrine.
