I'm no hockey fan mind you, but I think the southern hockey teams have been ruling of late, eh?

Canada considers the entire U.S. to be "southern," so yes.

Got Wii this Christmas and we went out and got Smash Brothers Brawl recently. We've not stopped playing the damn thing for two days straight! Reminds me of a friendlier version of mortal combat or street fighter. My 6 year old is kicking all of our asses all over the screen. Little bastich!

Finished Fable 2 lastnight, ridiculously fun game but the ending flat out sucks.

My wife and I played guitar hero the other day at a friend's house.  Neither of us had played before.  She's much better than I am.  It's obvious why that game has made so much money though, it was a blast.  I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time.  Watching her "shred" as she called it nearly made me piss myself laughing.

Zanshin

Ended up getting a bunch of games for the holidays.

Just finished Fallout 3.  I liked a lot about it...but I'm not big on the whole wandering around and talking to people thing.  I try to avoid that in real life.  Overall, it was a really solid game.  Bleak, but solid. I thought they did a great job on the graphics for the landscapes, but I think they could have done a better job on the people in the dialog sections....for whatever that's worth.  I still have a bunch of side quest things that I could do, but I'm not sure I'll go back to do it...just takes too much time to do what seems like menial stuff.

Far Cry 2 is next on deck, I think.

Fallout 3 can only be experienced to its fullest if you do what Zanshin doesn't like to do. Explore, sidequests, etc. If you just go through the main quest, it isn't very long at all. 10-15 hours probably. Overall you can spend easily over 150 hours on everything else. Still a good game doing just the main quest, but I wouldn't buy the game if that is all you are going to do. If you like more, then definitely worth a buy.

I highly recommend Dead Space as people asked about it earlier. It is a really good game. Excellent graphics and more to it than your typical survival horror game. You can build credits and buy things in the game, among other things.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Once again, CF is not representative of the general public.

Although, I don't think anyone on here actually bought a PS3, so that is in line.

Ninetendo's been killing the 360 and PS3 in console sales and it's not even close, but as far as games go - which is how the 360 makes its money - the 360 has sold double the games of the PS3 and Wii combined.

I don't think that's true at all.

During the last E3 they showed the Wii and PS3's games sold at something like 11 million while the 360 was close to 24 million, considering the 360 released Fable 2 and the best selling game this year in GOW2 I can't see that gap being closed. I'll try to find a link regarding games sales.
