I played with it for about 10 minutes, until she got mad because I kept smacking the guide person with a shovel, then built a fence around the snakes & birds, encouraging them to fight, then refusing to heal them.

ha!  if the guide person was a mexican, it also teaches her another good lesson.

Her name is Leefos & she definitely has some hispanic qualities, including eyebrows drawn on with a Sharpie pen & an upgradeable leaf blower.

finally found a strategy guide online and all is said was defeat the enemies and the flame wall will disappear. well the flame wall does not disappear for me after i beat everyone. must be a glitch or something. ghey.

Sorry Mussa... been gone for a few days.  :-D

Where exactly are you with the flame walls and 3 headed dogs?  In a big, circular arena (I believe it's called the Challenge of Poseidon)?  Are you having to fight any of those big cyclops at the same time?

Just trying to get a grip of where exactly in the game you are...

yeaup challenge of poseiden, exactly.  you just fight the 3 headed dogs big and small, no cyclops.  i beat them all and the flame walls don't disappear.  i did it 4 diff times, and thats not an easy level. there is nothing left to do, i'm just trapped in that circular area. so i looked up a guide to see if i was doing something wrong and it said just to defeat them all and the wall with disappear...so i contact sony's game department via email and have yet to hear back from them.  :boo

I hope Feva gets his commission from Sony, since all this ranting about GoW made me pick up a copy tonight.

Hopefully, I won't be like a girl & have to come back to this thread for hints.

You may have a farged up copy or something.  After everything is dead... you're supposed to be able to move onto 2 cyclopses and a bunch of archers with explosive arrows.

Does the game freeze up or anything or do you just run around forever with nowhere to go?

It's only a matter of time before you're thanking me.

And just over 2 weeks 'til God of War 2!  :yay

i bought madden for the wii yesterday.  it's possibly the collest thing i've ever played.  it's so interactive.  you actually have to do the motions for everything, hiking the ball, passing, stiff arms, jukes.  even the little things like calling for a fair catch and telling the crowd to shut up.

you look like an absolute idiot playing it but it's fun as hell.

Agree totally...other that the glitch that it randomly crashes. It's by far the best madden in years.

I am about 5 seasons into it. Whereas i never played more than 2 or 3 over the course of real year.

i really takes some getting used to though.  i'm not starting a season until i really get the hang of it.  granted, i haven't owned a video game system since original playstation, but i've always been good with picking up a controller and figuring out the moves fairly fast.  this is like learning vidoe games all over again.  especially running with the nunchuck, i can't do shtein with my left hand.

I forget about the two buttons on the left hand all the time.

the part i can't seem to grasp is that in the old maddens for playstation, the trigger on the right side was always speed burst, at least i think it was.  and now for this game it's dive, so everytime i start to break from the pack and want to speed up i dive to the ground and eff it up.

mussa

Feva,
I'm just trapped, it doesn't freeze or anything. It has to be a bad copy of the game. Thats a bitch. I have some older games saved, I may try to go back a few stages and see if that helps...? Thanks for confirm.  :yay

you should write the game a letter.

For me...the best part of the controls is being able to audible 1 player without scrolling through all of them. When you point to a WR pre snap, you dont have to guess his rout to change. and the defense is the same thing. changing any players "job" in about 1 second has made the game so much easier to control.

for the most part it seems to be that way. i havn't gotten a response from anyone at sony and its been almost a week.  when i had a probem with madden (EA) they got back to me right away.
