Wells is listed at 6' 1", 252 lbs, I hadn't realized he was that big. He did score four TDs and caught 22 passes last season. There's got to be more to it.

Mike Chappell, of the Indianapolis Star, reports the Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent RB Jonathan Wells (Texans) to an undisclosed contract. He went through a light workout in the afternoon Monday, Aug, 28. "I haven't even met with the coaching staff,'' Wells said. "I don't know what they're going to try to do with me. I have no idea. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I'll get a fair chance to get out there and try to help the team.''

From what I've read, he hasn't "slept late" or otherwise acted like a dirtbag.  But I haven't read much.  Is he acting like a fleshpop down there?

According to NFL radio they said he just can't stay healthy and that since Kubiak comes from the Denver school of thought that you can plug just about any RB in a system.  They also said that Casserly had nothing to do with the pick of Mario Williams, it was all Kubiak and Co.
