TE Christian Fauria (Patriots) officially a taterskin.

QuoteASHBURN, VA – The Washington taterskins announced today that they have signed tight end Christian Fauria. Terms of contract were not disclosed. Fauria is an experienced veteran that will add immediate depth to the taterskins offense.

Fauria, 6-4, 250 lbs., has played in 167 games with 119 starts during his 11-year NFL career. During that time span he has recorded 245 receptions for 2,473 yards and 20 touchdowns. He spent the previous four seasons with the New England Patriots, where he was a member of the Super Bowl XXXVIII and XXXIX championship teams.

Prior to joining the Patriots, he spent seven seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. Fauria played in all 16 games (starting 10) in 2005 finishing the year with eight catches for 57 yards and two touchdowns.

Fauria played at the University of Colorado where he finished his career with 98 catches for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 98 catches ranked him fourth all-time in school history while the 1,058 yards ranked him ninth all-time. He was named first-team all Big 8 and third-team All-American as a senior. Randle El sucks.

Anyways...Mike Anderson just signed with Baltimore for 4 years $8M. >:(

The BIGSTUD

What the farg is going on Eagles? Are you frickin kidding me?
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

SunMo

this is truly unbelievable...how are they going to explain moderate team additions while going into the season 20 million under the cap?

The BIGSTUD

It's simple:

"The fans don't understand what goes into the salary cap. We will use the money to extend our own free agents, among other things. We are spending money, the fans just don't realize it."

There are still good RBs out there.

I wanted Anderson though.

The BIGSTUD

Good RBs that we won't sign. 4 years 8 million is a bargain basement price. Why couldn't the Eagles do this? Why can't they do anything? This is a sick joke. Is it possible that Lurie feels he got farged over on the CBA agreement so he doesn't want to spend any money?

Isn't Davenport a free agent?

SunMo

who is still out there?

Anderson was perfect, a WCO running back, who could play some fullback and is a good pass blocker.  in other words, exactly what they needed.
