OT?? Played guard for the Lions

He's played every position but center on the line and someone on one board said he did pretty well at RT. It wouldn't take much to win the RT job in Dallas, so they could be looking at him as a RT/swing guy. Yippee. But hey. He's on the list of ESPN's "sleeper free agents". ::)

The contract as reported is 5 yrs, $15M, $5M signing bonus.

Evidently Fabini was in, but left without a contract. Speculation is he failed a physical, but speculation is all it is.

SD_Eagle5

The way the guys on Sirius were talking Fabini to the Cowboys was a no-brainer. Hadn't heard anything about a failed physical.

Greg Beacham, of the Associated Press, reports the San Francisco 49ers have traded restricted free agent WR Brandon Lloyd to the Washington taterskins for the taterskins' third-round pick in this year's NFL Draft and their fourth-round selection in 2007.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

The Denver Broncos announced free agent RB Ron Dayne has re-signed with the team after agreeing on a three-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

im surprised by the Taylor move, i thought for sure the Ravens would keep him as their feature back once they let Lewis go
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

PhillyPhreak54

I think they have a hard on for Deangelo Williams from Memphis.

Williams + Musa Smith = Ravens Rbs in 2006, IMO.

Most Cowboys fans thought the same considering Parcells "Knew the player." That's one reason for the speculation about the physical, because he was pretty much considered a lock.

Maybe someone informed him you don't have to sign every player that once played for him, and there's no law they have to be over 30.

New England receiver David Givens, who played at Humble High School, had been scheduled to visit the Texans today but re-signed with the Patriots late Saturday.

I don't even know what chron is, but if true kiss Givens goodbye as well.

That's the Houston Chronicle. I'm not too surprised, but he had already said he wasn't necessarily looking to be a #1 guy. If he's happy with his role in NE, why change?

Vikings | Team working on offer sheet for Hutchinson
Sun, 12 Mar 2006 05:14:21 -0800

Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Seattle Seahawks transition free agent OG Steve Hutchinson (Seahawks) is expected to visit with the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, March 12. The Seahawks placed the transition tag on Hutchinson, limiting his mobility in free agency, but the Vikings are enamored with Hutchinson and are believed to be working on an offer, which the Seahawks would have seven days to match.

Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports agent Brad Blank said a Houston Chronicle report saying free agent WR David Givens (Patriots) has re-signed with the New England Patriots was erroneous. Blank said "anything is possible" at this stage. This is the second erroneous report this weekend involving a Givens signing.
