They didn't technically sign him yet. They are probably sitting down at a table, and he has a pen in his hand, and the second the time turns 12:01 he'll sign that paper and he's theirs.

The Providence Journal said "Givens' agent, Brad Blank, said nearly a dozen teams already had called to say they'd be calling about the wideout once free agency begins, the Providence Journal reports."

I don't see any other options at receiver, and IMO it's a lock they sign one or trade for one.

I completely understand. I just don't think most Eagles fans had expectations of actually getting him.
