Updating an earlier report, John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports the St. Louis Rams have released WR Isaac Bruce.

I'd take him over Pinkston, Greggie, McCants, Wilbur, Thrash, and that dog Air Bud.

The man. The myth. The legend.

PhillyPhreak54

But the question is..

Would you take him over Na Brown?

Not during preseason.

You don't have to say "per" on a one-year deal.

-- According to the Baltimore Sun, Jon Kitna is likely headed to the Lions when FA starts.

-- According to the Boston Globe, the Seahawks, Dolphins, Vikings, Cardinals, 49ers and Texans may have interest in David Givens.

-- According to the St. Louis Dispatch, the Texans, Lions and taterskins are interested in Isaac Bruce.

PhillyPhreak54

Washington and Detroit are interested in Bruce?

What? Why?

PoopyfaceMcGee

Washington:  has no receivers besides Moss
Detroit:  Rogers is off the radar at this point, Roy Williams is oft-injured and soft (I blame UT), and Mike Williams is unproven... plus they have the Martz connection

SD_Eagle5

It's all part of Matt Millen's master offseason plan. Sign Bruce, use the #9 pick on the highest rated WR, sign a backup QB. Guys a genius.

PhillyPhreak54

Ah, yes. I forgot about the Martz connection.

Here's an idea for Matt Millen...quit collecting WRs. Just re-sign Mrs. Eckel and everything will be golden.

And Washington just signed David Patten. We were told by the Skins lovers that he would be a stud. Him, Taylor Jacobs and James Thrash would be awesome behind Santana.

PoopyfaceMcGee

It's a pity that Millen was a decent player and a decent broadcaster, because he sure is an awful GM.
