Call of Duty: Big Red One:
Pretty awesome game.  Even better than the first.  4/5

i agree, really great game.  weird thing happened to me though, i was really playing it alot, then, during one of the missions, the game glitched on me and i couldn't get past this one spot.  i was so pissed off that i haven't played it since.  everytime, i think about playing it, i remember what happened and i can't bring myself to put it in again.

i am pretty far in the game, and some of the missions are so intense.  i can see how u could get frustrated and say farg it, its too hard.   the worst level so far, which took me prob 50 times to beat, was the one where u jump in the half truck/tank thing and have to shoot those planes before they blow up the supply trucks and the guns.  it was so hard to find the planes and they came in so fast.  finally i was able to memorize where they came in first and just waited.  that part was so hard for me.

yeah, and it wasn't even that is was really hard that frustrated me.  the game glitched right at the end of the one mission where you were in a barn, and the thought of having to go through that entire mission again makes me not want to play yet.

but you're right about the missions being intense, you need to sit back for a minute when you get through one and relax.

Anyone play that Indiana Jones game on PS2 that came out a year or two ago?  I was thinking of picking it up on the cheap.  Acutally, anyone have it and want to unload it cheap and/or trade it?

I played it for XBox and it was pretty good. If you're an Indiana Jones fan you should like it. I thought the storyline was a little to supernatural for an Indiana Jones adventure. [Word of advice] You might get stuck on some parts because some of the puzzles and stuff near the end are a little complicated (like 1 or 2). Don't let them frustrate you, there are plenty of cheats and walkthroughs on the internet to get you through them.

Cool, if I find it cheap enough, I'll pick it up.  Just a question of whether I get it for the ps2 or the pc.  Depends how cheap I can find it, I guess.

You should be able to pick it up for around $10.

went to gamestop last night and asked about the game BLACK that is coming out Feb. 28th.  they have a demo u can get for putting $5 down on a reservation for the game.  i played it alittle last night before my girl came over and it is awesome. its only one level, but the destruction is so realistic and the guns are pretty bad ass.  i havn't made it through the level yet, just kind of shooting at everything and watching it blow up or shattering everything to pieces.  its cool cause u can, distract an enemy by shooting the ceiling or wall near him, the pieces of whatever u are shotting at will rain down on the guy and distract him, then u have time to aim and waste him.  so far its badass.  :yay

try the map on the bottom left of the screen that shows exactly where they are coming from.

i did try to use it, doesn't work on the airplanes, just ground forces.  i eventually memorized where they were coming from.  im onto harder levels now....

I got EA's Arena Football yesterday, got to play a quick game. The thing is Live enabled, and there was actually a game going on at 4 am.

It's actually fun to play, but takes some getting used to. They gave the kicking game this weird golf swing thing where you just use the right stick. It makes kicking accuracy tough but fair and pretty much on par with the AFL kicking averages.

There's a franchise mode, create a player, create a team, and online play. That's all I want out of a football game, and it was cheaper than Madden.

read a review of AFL and they gave it 4/5.  def looking forard to renting that.

hmmm.  I beat that level the first time using the map to show where the bombers were coming from.

mussa

what the hell! i even read a magazine with walk-thrus to the game and it said the map is worthless in this level.  WEIRD :sly

burn that magazine straight to hell.

My only complaint about this game so far is this butchered version of The Spy Hunter that seems to be on infinite loop.
