Random Eagles Information Still Not Worthy of a New Thread

I've closely followed this team since 1971,
When I finally realized the UH Rainbows weren't an NFL franchise, I've seen a lot of trash thrown out there. Any of us who have followed this team since Buddy Ryan left have seen some really awful defenses, but this shtein we're witnessing the last month is simply unexplainable.

I'm typically a homer but even I am disgusted right now.  I almost wish they got a better team to play to end this misery sooner rather than later.  Because I think they'll probably pull this game out before getting demolished next week against whoever they play.

Yeah I feel the same way. NFL even prolonging this by giving them the Monday game. Early Saturday with a chance to enjoy the rest of the weekend would have been ideal.

It was confirmed that the Eagles have no Europe games in 2024. They didn't lose a home game nor do they play against any of the teams that did.

Agreed.  Or what else might happen is the Cowboys and Lions both choke, then I will be pulled right back in thinking we have a shot.  Just to get steamrolled by Baker Mayfield.

the brazil game, while not europe, is still TBD

the word there is they are trying to hit either the opener or the friday after the opener for that (its a wrinkle in the broadcast rule with labor day being early than the nfl can hit that friday, so of course theyre gonna hit it).

the dolphins usually have a london game, dont, have marketing territory in brazil....and yea the eagles dont play miami.

Worst case scenario is they somehow wake up for the game and stomp the Bucs. It will be hard to resist the fools gold.

This probably belongs in the ex-eagles in the NFL thread but it's just so much fun piling on this coaching staff and the front office.

Derek Barnett in the Texans' wild-card win over the Browns: one sack, two quarterback hits, one tackle for loss. The last five weeks of the season, Barnett has more sacks (3 ½) than every Eagles edge rusher combined (2 ½). Barnett has more sacks in six games with the Titans than he had in his last 30 games with the Eagles. This is the first time in a long, long time Barnett looks like the 1st-round pick he was supposed to be. Why couldn't the Eagles get this kind of production out of him? It's embarrassing to see a guy the Eagles gave away for nothing produce at this level after joining a new team in the middle of the season. It reflects poorly on the front office and the coaching staff.

i would expect the eagles to play at 3pm next sunday, either on espn or nbc. if they win. which they wont.
