QB Eagles

The pick-six at the beginning of the Jags game. Another tipped one.

Thank you!  Jesus, that Jags game seems so long ago. The Phillies playoff/WS run has fogged my already shrinking brain.

The universal hatred for this move is tickling my contrarian instinct.

I feel bad for the guy.

He may need a friend.

Diomedes is here for you, Jalen.  When you ball out and the whole league is talking about how to stop the Eagles, I'll be here.  As in, my basement.  On :CF.  Asking what channel the game is on.

Legit this exact thing happened today.  DIOstrodamus up in this piece.

Diomedes

Most consecutive games with 90+ pass rating

Jalen 7

Jaws, Vick, Carson and 5 each had a string of 6 games above 90

I'd throw Todd in that group. His take on the move and take on Wentz was so accurate it's a bit scary. I think he liked the move just didn't want to admit it at the time.

Hurts is never going to have a gun that lasers a pass between 3 defenders over the middle consistently but his deep ball is one of the best in the league and his accuracy is on point. Only Geno Smith and Burrow have a higher completion %. From everything I gather he's always been the hardest worker wherever he's been but from listening to insiders he really became a student of the nfl game in the offseason. He makes no excuses and does what's needed to win games.

finally someone admitting what we all knew all along that im right about everything

i never anticipated hurts playing this well. thought he best case scenario could be a fringe starter/backup type. but when the eagles picked him, they did so believing that his ceiling was much higher. they turned out to be correct.

what was obvious about the move was what it said about wentz. you dont go spending a 2 on a qb unless youre not super confident in your starter. i dont think anyone expected wentz's career to be over 6 months later but they had all the intel in the world on wentz so they had some idea of where it was headed
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Well, they knew Wentz had a punk's attitude and Jalen carried himself like a mensch.

But I can't think anyone on the Eagles actually thought Jalen's in-game deficiencies would get flushed out with training and experience.

Wentz was such a pissbaby about the team doing well without him that Sproles wanted to fight him in physical therapy. They were absolutely right to draft a QB to replace him.

PhillyPhreak54

Cried about the team winning without him

Cried about Hurts getting drafted

Got sent to a MAGA/Jesus nut dream location in Indy - and flamed out spectacularly to the point that Irsay loathed him and they replaced him with the corpse of Matt Ryan

Goes to Washington and completely sucks, gets hurt (again) and has to watch that little fargin goofball Heincke take his job

Helluva run for Wentz.

Diomedes

Who would you rather have as of today if you need a backup?  Carson or Baker?

I'm rollin' with Baker if it's my call.

I don't think there's a QB in the world I'd want to have less than Wentz.
