i still love super techmo bowl too but they couldn't be any more different.

this may be popular for 30 and 40 year olds for nostalgia reasons but no one else is going to want to play that old shtein.

Other than the controllers I doubt it has any hardware in common with the NES. It's almost certainly a Raspberry Pi or similar device running an emulator. Doubt they'd even be able to source the parts if they wanted to make more real NES consoles.

well yeah i understand it's a replica of what technology looked like 30 years ago. i get it that that's the whole point. just saying i don't seen a big market at all other than nostalgia.

I don't think nostalgia is the right word because a lot of people validly love the older games...but yeah its not going to be a giant seller....its akin to mitchell and ness putting out a ronnie lott replica...its not going to be the number one selling nfl jersey but to a particular market its going to blow up

Companies have been selling these kinds of things for decades. I got my dad an Atari one years ago.

Also, you can just get an emulator and play them without buying some plastic box.

Meanwhile, even without IGY's seal of approval, Pokemon Go is more popular than Twitter and more googled than porn.

so my lil guy traded in his wii u and games and got $240 for them. turned around and got a nice xbox one s bundle for $260. not a bad deal.

for you xbox guys, what system exclusive games do you recommend ? (we still have ps4)

We just bought one sometime between Thanksgiving and Xmas.  Most of my Xbox time is currently spent on The Division.  Also bought Star Wars Battlefront, some Assassins Creed game, and Halo: Master Chief Chronicles....or something like that.  It's got like 4 or 5 Halo games in it.  Haven't played much of that one so far though.  Started to, but just couldn't get into it.

we have battlefront on PS4. im not that big on it, but i love all the war games. call of duty etc...i did get hooked on this game, rocket league.

have a feeling i will be playing the PS4 mainly and the lil guy will use the xbox because all his friends play that online.
