My plans:

Were gonna drive to the Ville' on Friday night, stay there after the game, drive an hour or so to Lexington on Saturday, then drive to Cincy after the Kent game. Lots of driving, but I cant pass up a weekend like that...
oh wow...ill be passed out on a bar stool somewhere in cincy for the majority of that time

It is not.
It is, however, generally known as the closest major city to Kentucky.

Just found these on Craig's List:
(2) Tickets Together
Sec 340, Row 35 *50-YARD LINE*
They were $125 a pop. Strange though that no others on StubHub are that high.
hmmm...i think 35 is the last row...its a round number and i cant find anything anywhere above that
which one of you hookers is buying my ticket?

Cheesesteak joint Balboa's knuckles into Dink's downtown Cincinnati space
Business Courier of Cincinnati
by Lisa Biank Fasig Staff Reporter
Dink's, the downtown luncheonette that brought low-priced Frito pies, gravy fries and Chicago dogs to office workers, is changing ownership to become an eatery dedicated to Philadelphia's best-known foods.
Owner Kent Vandersall, who opened the Vine Street eatery in April 2006, is selling his lease and expects the deal to be completed by next week. His last day will be Feb. 8. The new owner, former Subway franchisee Harish Sonecha, plans to reopen March 3 as Balboa's Philly Steaks and Pizza.
For Vandersall, the move was more about time than business. As the general manager of the Phoenix downtown, he's been pulling down two full-time jobs.
"It's just too much work," he said.
Sonecha and his partner, Tej Thakar, will specialize in authentic Philly cheese-steaks, with the meat and bread flown in from Philadelphia. They also will make New York-style pizzas, with the dough coming from the East Coast, and lastly, they will sell Tastykakes, the snack cakes made and sold in Philadelphia.
This is the second Balboa's for Sonecha, a Philadelphia native. He opened his first location last November in Indianapolis, where he had operated several Subway franchises. He also had operated some franchises in Cincinnati but wanted a change of pace.
"We've all had enough of the franchise stuff and decided we want to do things the way we want," he said.
Debi O'Dell, general manager at Diamond Properties, which owns the building at 628 Vine St., said Sonecha signed a five-year lease after looking at other downtown sites. She hooked him up with Vandersall.
"I know that Kent was interested in giving up his business," she said.
But Vandersall, who is from Long Island, N.Y., said he'd do it again. "It's been a blast," he said. "I don't regret anything."
I had a dream i was on the roadie with my wife, Igy, Sunmo, and Sarge. For some reason we were traveling from bumblefarg Georgia up to north dakota. IGY spent half the dream fighting over Steve Downie, and upcoming players for the flyers and eagles, while sun and sarge were trying to convince my wife to show her titties. I'll go ahead and say thats a very accurate display of what the roadie is going to be.

Cincinnati Bengals
PAUL BROWN STADIUM :: Opened 2000 :: Capacity 65,500 - Ranked #19 in the NFL by SI.com
TICKETS
Average Price Per Ticket $65.85
Price Range Of Tickets $55-$250
Ticket Availability Games sold out since Nov. 9, 2003.
"Cincinnati fans have become, over the past few years, a very loyal bunch -- almost to the extreme. If you're a Bengals fan, that's great; if you support the other team, things can get a bit out of hand." Most appreciate the fact that Bengals fans are generally "united in their overall zaniness" nowadays, in comparison to the 1990s, when the "atmosphere was often, 'Oh, how are we going to blow this game.'" And though some say "you can [now] feel the buzz as soon as you exit the highway," many find the crowd "very rude and foul-mouthed." "There are a lot of individuals who don't have any regard for little kids, cursing the opposing team and any fans of that team who happen to be sitting in the area." "Fans seem to feel they are owed something". In response, the team has begun operating a "JERK hotline, a phone number you can call and alert security about a problem in the stands. If they find the people too rude, they will kick them out." (get it on speed-dial for in-game fun!!)
SCORE 7 out of 10
FOOD & SOUVENIRS
Hot Dog $3.00
Soda (20 oz.) $3.75
Beer (16 oz.) $6.50 -- not bad
Expected Meal Cost $10-$15
Program $5
Cap $15.00
"You must check out the hometown favorites -- Gold Star Chili and Montgomery Inn BBQ, of course." That isn't all, say those who feel "no football stadium has such a made-for-game day experience like a Cincinnati chili cheese hot dog." As "it seems like there is a food or beverage stand every few feet," "local fare is easy to find," such as Donatos' "great" pizza." Of course, that isn't the only placed to grab a drink, as bars serving Bloody Marys and a host of "nice specialty beer vendors" can attest.
SCORE 7 out of 10
ACCESSIBILITY
Parking $21.00
"The stadium is downtown, so fans can arrive from N/S/E/W, which prevents major congestion." Inexpensive parking close to the stadium isn't easy to find, but "there is plenty downtown within 8-10 blocks." Additionally, "parking across the Ohio River in Kentucky and walking across the suspension bridge makes the commute easy." A water taxi and a $1.00 shuttle bus ride also offers "easy" access. While public transportation is relatively limited, Bengals Express buses offer rides in from the Cincinnati suburbs "that couldn't be any easier." "Leaving the game is always a bear," but with "several routes in and out of the city," it's never too bad."
SCORE 5 out of 10
TAILGATING
"Until recently, tailgating was the only reason to go to the stadium." With parking near the stadium "pricey and limited to season-pass holders," the tailgating scene "covers about a square mile" in "many far-flung locations." Dispersed from "absolutely phenomenal" Longworth Hall -- an old railroad building about twice the length of the stadium -- to a "huge parking lot next to a gravel pit," Bengals tailgating is "a mix between Halloween, Christmas and New Year's Eve." "People have ambulances painted orange and black," grills are cooking "classic Midwestern fare (brats, burgers, chili, etc.)" and "lots of alcohol" is around. Games of parking lot football abound, as do games of cornhole (Chuggie's gonna LOVE this!), "a bean bag toss game similar to horseshoes named as such because the bean bags are filled with corn." "The festive atmosphere" stretching "a mile in both directions along the river" has gained a following so "intense" that Bengals wide receiver "Chad Johnson himself has even walked about the tailgates for the experience."
SCORE 8 out of 10
STADIUM ATMOSPHERE
"There aren't a lot of bells and whistles inside," but Paul Brown Stadium is "beautiful, fan-friendly and convenient." "The view of the field from any seat is amazing." "Nice, wide-open stairs are all around," and it's "very easy to get to and from the restroom without missing much action." "A fan zone outside the stadium" is "like a country fair, with games for kids and adults." And "a lone escalator on the north side of the stadium is very odd but has a great view," while "the jungle façade around the perimeter of the field adds a nice touch". "The design is artistic, but still enjoyable to the average Joe". For all of its pluses, PBS also has "a lot of plain cement color," leaving some with the impression that "the place feels kind of cold." At the facility, though, it's clear you're in for a Midwestern winter, courtesy of the stadium's "open sides, which allow for a lot of wind to come through." But those are minor quibbles for a place most Bengals fans list as "a nice stadium, considering my taxes paid for it."
SCORE 8 out of 10
NEIGHBORHOOD
"The surrounding land is a no-man's zone, left undeveloped because city and county officials cannot agree how to develop it." That has left the stadium flanked by "a town hall, banks and executive offices -- which are all closed on game days -- on the Ohio side" of the river. "Some great bars are about a 10-minute walk away," and "a 15-minute walk across the river" to Newport-on-the-Levee in Kentucky puts you in "a wonderful historic area with outdoor patios, cafes and jazz bars." It's hard for many to escape the reality Cincinnati has drug "its feet so much on building up the neighborhood so that the Kentucky side of the river is the place to be."
SCORE 4 out of 10
BOTTOM LINE
After years of drudgery on the Ohio River, it seems the Bengals have gotten their act together. While those efforts have advanced in fits and starts on the field, they have blossomed in full in the team's seven-year-old stadium. For all of its aesthetic leanings, Paul Brown Stadium still satisfies the traditional meat-and-potatoes yearnings of the NFL fan, with hearty Midwestern fare inside and outside the stadium, and with a stadium design that doesn't hide from the weather. The surrounding neighborhood has been slow to catch up, but if the team keeps attracting the crowds it has been of late, developers won't eschew the money-making opportunities throngs of people with disposable income present.
FINAL SCORE 41 out of 70

MMH, you still planning on going/offering a ride from Chi-town?
Yah, I'm driving. IM me when you get flight info.
Tickets to Cincy are about half of what they were last time I checked. Looks to be a good time to grab a plane ticket. (they're only about 250 from DC)
I might be able to make it now....anyone got an extra ticket?
Also...where is everyone staying approximately....anyone got extra space, I'll pay my share of the room....(anal sex extra).
Otherwise....I don't know shtein about Cincinnati....where's Chuck Chillout when you need him?
I think me and my buddy will be high-classing it at the Westin about 4 blocks from the stadium, as long as we can walk under or over Fort Washington Way. We have the points to blow, so free beats cheap.
I think FF was thinking of going as well - maybe you two can grab tickets together and a room. Most of us are in section 340. In fact, here (https://www.stubhub.com/cincinnati-bengals-tickets/?ticket_id=133947059) are two tickets for sale on StubHub right now that I am selling (I bought a pair, but we really needed 6). I'll sell them to you for a CF price of $95 each (That's about what I sold them for) if you want them.
Sharing a room with Chuggie, huh?
I am unsure about the quality of that plan.
Especially if the anal secks is extra
That thought did not require two posts.

Flight fares just beginning to crack the $400 mark....$499 plus tax...$552...cheapest flight to Cincy from LAX. :'(
Cheapest from LAX to Ohare- $346 total.
Who else is driving from the Philly area? We were kicking around the idea of renting a Winne and taking it out there...
Lemme know if anyone wants to join us...
Come to Houston and pick my ass up.
I'm about 10 days out from having to cancel, unless by some miracle I become employed.
farging farg. I want to go very badly.

QuoteCINCINNATI -- Disappointed fans of the winless Cincinnati Bengals are trying to unload thousands of tickets for remaining home games, many of them well below face value.
The online ticket agency StubHub.com has 3,000 tickets for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. At least 4,000 tickets are available for each of the remaining games.
Some sellers don't care about making a profit. There are $64 tickets priced as low as $24.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, more than 4,100 tickets are unsold for the Bengals' Nov. 2 game against Jacksonville, and more than 5,000 tickets are currently available for games against Baltimore, Washington and Kansas City.
The Bengals are 0-6 after losing to the New York Jets last weekend.
Longtime fan Steve Carr told the Enquirer it's gotten so he can't even bear to watch the team on TV.
"It's not worth it," Carr, a longtime fan, told the newspaper. "I was yelling at the TV watching that game" Sunday, a 26-14 Cincinnati loss.
Coach Marvin Lewis said he shares that frustration and feels responsible, adding he hopes fans will wait patiently for a turnaround.
Dude. That's cheap.
wow, paying $110 for my Eagles ticket, FTL
$106
but you could have had to pay for your own and then get effed in the ass by sarge on a second ticket
Second year in a row that has happened. Last year, Minny-Eagles tickets were as cheap as $10 the week prior to the game.
I think there's a lesson in here somewhere, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out.
BTW - 80% chance I don't make the game now, meaning I'll either have to eat the ticket cost or sell them at a loss.
FTL.
theres no lesson if you want a huge group of tickets together....you have to get those early or you dont get them together
if you just want two or four its almost always better to wait
Demon, people were giving them away 2 for $10 and what not. I had to eat two tickets.
I remember - particularly the salsa you added to them to make them go down easier.

normally i would agree but theres groups of 20 together in the 200 level for like 70 a piece right now. ridiculous.
you cant take that chance tho in august...where as you can if you just need 2 or 4
yeah i agree, just sayin.

As much as this sucks, I gotts to back out....startin the new job on the 17th... :'(
If there is anyone that has wanted to go, but didn't get tickets, my pair is listed on eBay. Might as well get them at a steal.
Allright......so who the hell is still going to this? And where are we tailgating?
my group still have penises and are in
i have a feeling we are just gonna "tailgate" at a bar sunday morning...this place seems to be a good spot...im gonna call and find out how early they open on game days

also mongo from philly tailgate has this set up for sat night
The Lodge Bar - 35 East 7th Street
From 8Pm to Midnight:
$2 Domestic drafts
$3 Domestic Bottles and Well Drinks
Just mention "PhillyTailgate" at the door and they'll waive your cover and give you a wristband for the drink specials.
$3 domestics? Wow - what a steal.
yeah my girl has been to cincy like three times for biz in the last year and says its the cheapest city shes ever been to...i suspect theres cheaper drink specials around than that...but its more important to be where all the green is than to get cheap(er) drinks
I was being facetious.
But for a city $3 isn't bad at all. Not that Cincinnati really qualifies as a city, though.

facetious or not youre right...after hearing from my girl how friggin cheap the city is when i saw his "deal" its the first thing i thought of...like i was expecting $1 drafts and $5 pitchers or something along those lines
then again the place he got has a cover so maybe its more bar/dj spot/live music than it is straight drinking hole
Hahaha

Watching your miserable farging football team tie a team that was 1-8 going in: PRICELESS!
Any sharp objects in sight?
just got done playing craps with Jonathan Joseph and chris perry. Good times.
Knowing that I was planning on being at this game as my 08 road trip, I started to think back to the road trips I've taken. I've only seen three great Eagles games dating back to 2001 when I started this little hobby:
2008 - I still wish I went to knock the Bengals off my list and have a good time with peeps, but damn what a horrible game.
2007 - Eagles beat the Vikings, 23-16. It was a very bad game with terrible mistakes on both sides, and the Eagles were lucky to have won it.
2007 - Eagles barely beat the lowly J-E-T-S-JETSJETSJETS 16-9. Again, Eagles were lucky to walk out with a win.
2006 - Eagles only play one half of the game, and lose in the last seconds 27-24 to the Saints. Andy was a master of time management again, leaving no time outs for the end of the game. At least the drinking and public nudity was awesome.
2005 - Monday Night White Out - Eagles lose 42-0 to the Seahawks in a blizzard. Freaking cold.
2005 - Amazing come from way behind victory over the Chiefs, 37-31. TO had a very good game, as did Donovan. Watching the Chiefs fans leave halfway through the 4th was worth every penny.
2004 - Eagles lose to the Rams, without even trying. 2nd and 3rd stringers in the game. It was a great party, and much fantastic drinking, but the game sucked ass.
2004 - Eagles beat the Packers 47-17 in a fantastic display. Favre sucked, and Westbrook was God.
2003 - Eagles give up a touchdown in 6 seconds to Dallas, and end up losing 23-21. This one hurt a lot because a) it was Dallas, and 2) I thought they were going to pull it off.
2002 - In a day filled with rain, snow, ice, and hail, while sitting on metal benches in Champaign Illinois, I watch the Eagles squeak out a victory 19-13 over the Bears.
2001 - Eagles beat the Chiefs 23-10 in a game in which they dominated. It snowed like hell that day, and I was so drunk I lost my way to my seats while out on a beer run. Good times.
So, where to next year?
Oakland
San Diego. A whales vagina. Followed by a flight to don ho's
I seriously am thinking about San Diego. I was thinking Carolina, so I could crash at FF's place, and also thinking Denver, but I've seen enough Denver during the last several years to hold me off. If the schedule cooperates, I think SD may win out.
How far is LA from San Diego?
