id say you made out ok considering
My favorite pick has to be in the 10th round, when "gethollisback!" took Chris Johnson, a cornerback who hasn't played since 2005 and is training camp fodder for the Raiders.

I thought Rivers was a great pick at that spot.
I'm not in the league so forgive this intrusion but PG is going to kick all your asses with that team.
How the farg did Deuce McCallister fall all the way to 20?
taterskins look good on paper every year, too.

You're right...just another season of me being "lucky" and winning the Super Bowl?
Hard to have a bad team with a first pick ;).
All I'm saying is that it's tough to anoint a winner before the season starts.
I had a bad team with the first pick a few years ago. THAT year I was lucky and went to the SB but lost.
That was the year Manning was my QB, he threw for 41 TDs.
But by the end of the season, with injuries, I had Jon Ritchie as a starting RB and Todd Pinkston as my #1 WR.
:-D
I still can't figure out why I lost in the Super Bowl. ;)
well, when you pre-rank, you get what you get:
Quote1. (10) Laurence Maroney RB
2. (11) Travis Henry RB
3. (30) Antonio Gates TE
4. (31) Roy Williams WR
5. (50) Plaxico Burress WR
6. (51) Calvin Johnson WR
7. (70) Jon Kitna QB
8. (71) David Akers K
9. (90) Terrell Suggs DL
10. (91) Shawne Merriman DL
11. (110) Champ Bailey DB
12. (111) Marion Barber III RB
13. (130) Greg Jennings WR
14. (131) Matt Leinart QB
Didn't need to go K at 8, then D D and D...but oh well.
I was wondering why you picked Akers so early. lol
It'll be a project to see how competetive I can make the team.

Not really. PG is also the only one to only have one pick out of the first nineteen players taken. If she missed on her #1 pick, she's basically screwed. Now LT's a very unlikely miss, but he could get injured. Even if LT plays merely mortal this year, a good chunk of the people who took him #1 are going to be screwed in serpentine draft leagues.

That's laying it on a little thick.
My week one team:
QB Kitna, Leinart
RB Maroney, Henry, Dunn, B.Jackson
WR Roy Williams, Plax, Isaac Bruce
TE Gates
K Akers
D London Fletcher, Shawn Merriman, Champ Bailey
big improvement over the one I drafted.
Domination :)
Of course, I end up playing against Palmer this week...

PG is clearly throwing her game this week, starting Leon Washington and Najeh Davenport over LT and starting three bye week players. :boo

lol...I set my roster this week thinking we were still playing. That Kurt Warner pickup was for naught.
