I guess the bowing comes first.

Dreams are nice to have. Wet ones especially.
I won't be able to make the draft, so I pre-ranked my players.
I'm loading up on kickers and tight ends right away to make sure you chumps don't get anyone good.
I hope I get the 4th pick so I can draft Brian Dawkins.

I
was going to be available until my niece called up and asked us to her birthday party. I wonder if they would mind me hanging on their computer for a while... :-D
I'll be sure to pre-rank plenty of defensive gems at the top of my list. I think a stong defense will be the key in this draft.
There is no doubt that Gocong is a 1st round sleeper.
I might have to pre rank also. Just found out i have a family party we have to attend at 3pm.
unless I'm losing it here at the end of the day, there are no key defensive players in the pre-rankings on yahoo in our league
any reason?
I will probably be there. And win.
Turns out my niece's party is on Sunday, so I should be drafting live.
I know you were all worried.
I WAS all worried. Phew!
you should worry about the defensive players not being there commish.
whats the scoop duke?
I see individual defensive players in the pre-ranking page just fine. I would hazard to guess that the reason you don't is user error.
I wasn't going to tell him. I figured it was an advantage tool for the rest of us.
Nice job, Dio. >:(
IDP's are a pain in the ass, which is why I'm going to use my first 3 picks on them.
I'm zeroing in on Adam Archuleta in the 2nd round.
I won't be here for the draft. In fact, you fools can look forward to like 12 days without me around at all. Lucky you.
I look forward to finishing in last place.
:yay
Alright I did the pre-rankings, i maybe late due to blowing my whistle, and throwing coaches out of preseason little league football games. Is there anything I need to do, or will it automaticly draft for me until I get there?
Some things I noticed while doing my pre-rankings:
- Hank Baskett didn't make the list of 1,946 players in the Yahoo system.
- The player who Yahoo ranked dead last, in 1,946th place: Koy Detmer. :-D
6th pick. Meh.
Ashley Lelie is mine!
Hahahaha!!!
I told you I'd do it, FF.
:-D
damn, yahoo just kind of kicked us out of the draft room once it was over.
Carson Palmer to Sassy with the 11th overall pick made for some good fun.

I kinda like my team. Tomlinson has to have a killer year and Culpepper has to have a monster comeback in Miami, though.
The defensive players I got were really good. They were all in the top 15 except Spikes who would have been if not for his injury last year.
Culpepper in the 2nd round was reach city, Romey.
The guys with bench kickers and defensive players will probably wish they could have attended live.
i know dio pre ranked his players....who else wasn't actually there?

That was way too easy, and my team is way too good for a 16-team league. Biters.

have you looked at the waiver wire? the best player available is Mike McMahon.
Wrong, because we all know Jeff Garcia is way better than McMahon.
And like I've said, Jabar Gaffney is still available.
look again, I see plenty that could step up and have big roles this year. dont just think the players drafted will have the best years guy....it never works out that way

Yes, most definitely. With the limited # of bench spots and with all those stupid individual defensive players (even though I like mine a lot), the drafted list isn't as deep as you'd think. There's still plenty of sleepers that went undrafted.
why don't you too come out of the closet for a minute and look up sarcasm in the dictionary.
those defensive players are draft killers. the fact that you have to play 3 is an add/drop nightmare for other available players

I half assed my pre rankings and got the 14th over all pick. My team sucks ass.... See you in last place bitches. I somehow managed to drafted no knee Curtis Martin and Priest Holmes.
If I beat anyone in this league you should hang your head in shame.... I am teh suckage
What's funny is your team also got a major steal of the draft in getting LaMont Jordan with the 18th pick.
As I look at it I am only one running back away from being competative... Unfortunatly that is a key position...
Yeah I'm thinking your current starting duo of LaMont Jordan and no one might not stack up to Romey's duo of LT and Reggie Bush.
Once FF got done sucking my hog, I realized that my team is the best. Even though, someone named Kurt Warner happens to be my starting QB.

You need Matt Linehart (sic) as a handcuff and you'll be fine!
P.S. My team is obviously the best, even with you're surprisingly-good drafting skills. And Rome's team isn't all bad, even though he completely wasted his 2nd round pick.
I only wish I had taken Lelie earlier.
He's going to own!
Projected Starting lineup:
QB: Daunte Culpepper
RB: LaDainian Tomlinson
RB: Reggie Bush
WR: Joey Galloway
WR: Lavernues Coles
WR: Jerry Porter
TE: Jason Witten
K: John Kasay
D: Ray Lewis
D: Takeo Spikes
D: Julius Peppers
Bench:
QB: Brad Johnson
RB: Greg Jones
WR: Ashley Lelie
I'm going to win a lot of matchups with that team. And no, my second pick wasn't a "big stretch." Look where I was picking in the second round. I needed a quarterback and ended up taking a flier on Reggie Bush a few picks later. If Bush pans out and Culpepper has the kind of year he's capable of having in Miami, then my team is going to be very solid. If not, then oh well, lesson learned.

Yes, Culpepper was a huge stretch in the 2nd round - even with the 31st overall pick. I got Vick with the 90th pick, and there isn't nearly that much of an expected difference between the two. In fact, I had Vick higher on my draft board regardless, so I kind of rule for getting his herpes-riddled ass at #90.
Plus, there are no "matchups" in this league. Points only, not H2H.
All of the good running backs were gone. Most of the good receivers were as well. When I looked at the players I had available to me at the time, Culpepper looked the best to me.
Look, if the guy ends up sucking, I'm toast anyway. But if he has a great season (as he should with a good Miami offense) then yeah, I think it was a good pick.
We'll see.
PS: As for the "matchups" comments, I was speaking in a general sense as if my "team" was playing against another hypothetical team.
Your team has AIDS.

That could potentially be an absolutely brutally bad corps of WR's. At best, they might be mediocre.
Or I could simply make a trade or two or pick up someone via the waiver wire.
Or they could turn out to be inspired picks. Hell, Tomlinson could be a bust this year. Who the farg knows?
PS: Ease up on the adverbs, there, chief.
I wasn't there for the draft, and had to pre-rank. Ended up with a defensive player on the bench, so that sucked a bit.
All said and done, I think I'm middle of the pack. There will be waiver-wire activity, that's for sure.
QB: Green
WR: R. Moss, Matt Jones, and D. Branch (if he ever signs, that is)
RB: Alexander, DUnn
TE: Pollard
K: Kaeding
DEF: Vilma, Taylor, and Dawkins
Bench: Givens, C. Perry, and M. Anderson
not bad at all for not being there. Your only pitfall could be matt Jones from what I see. If Branch plays--which I think he will--your in good shape guy
Since everyone else seems to be reporting their roster I suppose I will too. I think I'm in pretty good shape, but two of my three RBs are rookies who could either be running for 1000 yards this season or riding the pine by Week 3. If Johnson gets hurt I'm pretty much screwed.
As of 8/15:
QB: Matt Hasselbeck, Drew Brees
WR: Santana Moss, Reggie Brown, Eddie Kennison, Roddy White
RB: Larry Johnson, Joseph Addai, Mike Bell
TE: Randy McMichael
K: Josh Scobee
D: London Fletcher(-Baker), James Farrior, Madieu Williams

I pre-ranked like 200 players or some shtein (see Geek Test thread). Not sure how I ended up with Jones, but I think if I don't improve that position, Givens may play in his place a few times.
Or maybe he'll have a breakout season, and everyone will call me Father Demon The Genius.
Chuck, you might want to start looking for a new #3 WR.
I feel brilliant for having removed Koren Robinson from my draft board altogether.

Yeah, I took Joe Horn the pick right before you took Clayton, and I also need him to round back into form.

Per Rotoworld: Jerramy Stevens is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam Thursday after re-injuring his surgically repaired knee. The tight end was carted off the field during practice after he slammed his knee on the ground during a passing play. The results are expected back sometime later in the day. Itula Mili would re-emerge as the starter if Stevens has to miss time.

Ha.
Not a good start for me. Randy McMichael was robbed of a couple of big plays there near the end. And I have Jeff Reed in my money league and I'm pretty sure I could have made a better kick than his one FG attempt. Plus I live in Pittsburgh and they are going to be way hyped up here over winning a game over a decent team with Charlie Batch.
As for the rest of the CFFFL, it was a good night for the Ronnie Brown and Heath Miller owners. Plus I noticed that Demon jumped on the Joey Porter bandwagon in record time after that game, so it will probably be Porter's only productive game of the year.

This team is doing the best of all my fantasy teams so far. It might be a long season.
Early game ownage. A lot of games left this weekend though.
It just really dawned on me that we are doing points instead ofg head-to-head. I mean, I knew it, but never really considered it.
Points leagues suck.
Just in case you care.
Head-to-head with 15 teams would have been interesting.
I'm hurting... Trent Green -- who knows what's gonna happen to him, and me with no other QB.
Looks like my choices are C. Frye, B. Johnson, A. Smith, J. Losman, K. Collins, R. Grossman, and C. Simms.
Oh what to do, what to do......
Try for a trade?

With injuries starting to really kick in, some of the positions are definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel now. I picked up Marcus Robinson this week, and now I find out he's hurt too. Going forward, I think teams that want a shot at winning will have to make some smart trades, because there won't be a heck of a lot of value on the waiver wire or in free agency.
The rich get richer as league-leader Dio wins the waiver wire contest for Roy Williams. There's no word on whether the drugs that caused Phanatic to drop Williams in lieu of holding onto Greg Jennings have worn off yet.
I was hoping my 4th position on the waiver wire would be sufficient. Good news for me. Why the hell anyone would drop a bona fide #1 reciever, I don't know. Sure, the Lions suck..but they have to throw the ball to someone. Moreover, he's got no one threatening to supplant him as the primary target. WTF were you thinking Phanatic?
Apparently he was convinced that Williams sucks based on the amount of fantasy points he put up against the Seahawks* and Bears**. Jennings, although virtually absent against the Bears, had a decent game against New Orleans*** last week, putting his overall fantasy points above Williams for the year so far.
* allowed 16 points so far this season
** allowed 7 points so far this season
*** allowed 41 points so far this season against the Browns and Packers
The sweetest news isn't just that I landed Williams. It's that I traded Amani Toomer for DeShaun Foster. I'm was weak at RB and I didn't particularly need the bother of "will Toomer show up today," so I was more than happy to take that trade. Foster is still the starter as of this week, and even if he loses the role, he's much more valuable on my bench than Toomer (or whoever I bench in place of him) would have been.
Then I got Williams and dumped Burleson. Two starters for two non starters, improving both WR and RB. Ha!

You lucky bastich. What moron released him?
OK maybe Phanatic was a genius after all. Jennings just had a 75 yard TD.

That worked out good for me too, since I was overloaded at RB & shaky at WR. I already had Deangelo Williams, so Foster was going to do nothing for me.
Both Jennings and Williams have nice TDs. Jennings' is of course worth more because it's twice the distance, but I'm still happy to have Williams instead of Toomer, and Foster instead of Burleson.

The person who dropped Roy Williams should be banned from life.
Worst to first, stillupfront's moms.
Looks like a good week for me, as well. Even a blind squirrel...or whatever.
I still have almost half my team left to play:
Vick, Horn, Colston, Carney.
In terms of fantasy points, that looks more like 1/8 of your team.

Let me repeat that. Beermonkey benched Willie Parker in order to start DeAngelo Williams.
Chuck Chillout started Drew Bledsoe and Julius Jones.

Is Beermonkey even trying? Only 8 of his players are playing this weekend. As of 4:50pm, he has 8 points with only Brady, Berrian, Gabriel, Strong, and Trent Cole left to play...
Brady was picked off and now "Monkey Spanks" is down to 5.5 points. :-D
My defense is saving my ass this week.
I picked up Dallas defense this week since Pitt had a bye. I forget which league it was in but regardless, they got me some points.
Hasselbeck is killing me. I shoulda started Brees.
Dammit...I sat Maroney. But it looks like Thomas Jones is doing okay.

I traded myself into a corner with 5 of my players on bye & Gore getting shut out. I knew this week was a total throw away.
Looks like you're going to beat chuck chillout. Brady and Berrian came up big. Phillymic has a chance of making it out of last since he's starting McNabb tomorrow night.

The Eagles offense should not be underestimated at this point in the season. Three of the four offensive fantasy MVPs have been Eagles, with Donovan McNabb becoming the first player to achieve that status twice.
Despite being in first place overall by a wide margin, Dio has yet to win a week or have an MVP.
It looks like MDS will either have to trade, or learn to live with Charlie Frye at quarterback. Hey MDS, after Week 5 I'll trade you Drew Brees for Brian Westbrook (assuming he passes the physical)...
Phillymic's quarterback outscored the rest of his offense by 15 points.
The rest of my offense outscored my quarterback by 93.5 points.
Chuck chillout chose to start a tight end on a bye week rather than expose Ladell Betts to the waiver wire. He also started Betts over Julius Jones. Chuck, the last place trophy is yours...

Charles Frye has over 70 fantasy points. Thats better than any FA out there. Garbage time TD count, too.
I'm probably going to lose top seed this week. Subbing Roethlisberger and Barlow in for Carr and Rudi, who are on a bye this week. Oh well.

Sassy, are you really going into this week without a QB? For farg sake man...
In the Astroglide v. Killer Krauts mactchup, I'm intrigued by each team's selection of a swing player. Both went with WRs who should be good, but have sucked donkey balls so far this year: Randy Moss for rjs and Hines Ward for 61. Neither team had a better option due to byes, unless you count Marion Barber III as a better option than Ward. I'm interested to see if either player makes a contribution. If I had to choose which one, I'd bet that Ward has the better chance of helping the cause.
This thread is for CFFFL AFC discussion only. Any off topic posts will be deleted.

If you had a defensive Bear, you probably had a pretty good week. Offensive Bear, not so much. For those of you keeping score at home, Rex Grossman had -11.5 pts this week. Chuck wisely benched him.
Romey becomes the first franchise to have an offensive and defensive MVP in the same week. He misses the Triple Crown (collecting both MVPs and winning the week) by 0.5 pts.
Reese started Brett Favre (bye week) over Jon Kitna (19 pts). Mad-Lad started Peyton Manning on his bye week, and elected to start bye-week Fred Taylor over Travis Henry (23 pts) and injured Larry Fitzgerald over Michael Clayton (11 pts). Personally I think a guy who drafted Pacman Jones in Round 9 deserves last place every week.
This marks the 4th consecutive week that QB Eagles has multiple standout players. Only two teams (MDS and Phanatic) have had 4 consecutive weeks of one standout player.
Jon Kitna and Drew Brees have been started one game this season each. Both have more points than Peyton Manning.
My team sucks yet I'm within striking distance of the lead. This is sad.
When there are 15 guys in the league, everyone's team sucks.
Incidentally, I've found the new format more fun than last year. We've got to scrape the bottom of the barrel more (leading to people playing some funny names), and worrying about matchups is lamer than just trying to maximize fantasy points for the whole season. People are forced to make a lot more moves.
In last year's league, 95% of the work was done by the end of draft day week. This year, there are people like Sus who have been able to make a lot of smart moves and upgrade their team significantly. The people doing poorly are generally the people who have been neglecting their team.
Glad you like it. It's def. a different kind of game than last year.
It's an interesting comparison to the pay league I'm in, where each drop/add costs five bucks. You gotta make the moves wisely if you want to keep any of the prize at the end.
Here, it's much easier - and cheaper - to keep churning the roster.
I'm gonna go churn right now. Bwahaha.
I started Leftwich instead of Vick. Go me.
Looks like Mad-Lad is going from worst to first thanks to Peyton Manning, Hines Ward, and a two-touchdown defensive player whose name isn't all that important.
I'd say i drafted pretty well. i'm not a huge fan of overall fantasy football, but this week was kinda funny considering i was ranked so low on saturday

Some firsts: first week with multiple offensive MVPs, first week with no Eagle players listed, first week in which all of the standout offensive players have over 30 points, and first multiple winner of Best Team. FF was Best Team back in Week 1.
Mad-Lad's benched running back (Fred Taylor) had four times the points of both of his starting RBs combined (Tatum Bell and Travis Henry). He also benched a 14-point performance by a very juiced Shawne Merriman.
Sarge did so poorly this week because of the dreadful mistake of starting Chad Pennington (who actually subtratced 3 points) over Carson Palmer (22 pts).
There's no reason to blame FF for leaving Mike Bell (25 pts) on the bench because no one could have possibly foreseen that.

Carson Palmer (Sweet Sassy Mo-lassy) - 37 pts
Willie Parker (Monkey Spanks) - 34 pts
Philip Rivers (MDS' Zordichs) - 31 pts

Kerry Rhodes (SeasNutz) - 11 pts
I'm getting a little sick of seeing the mugs of LT and Julius Peppers. Luckily for us, the rest of Romey's team sucks mightily.
The vultures are circling around Sus' team. One too many moves, dude.
Not the best week for reese to bench Heath Miller (9 pts) for Eric Johnson (0 points).
Eli Manning scored -4 points for Phanatics. Excuse me while I go clean out my pants.
Reggie Bush finally got a touchdown (and 99 yards) in real life, but in the CFFFL universe he was sitting on Romey's bench watching Mike Bell sit out a game against Oakland.
No free pass for FF this week. Even Ron Mexico's friends at the STD clinic knew he was due for a reality check in Week 10. He scored 8 points while Tony Romo lit up the hapless Cards for 25.5.
Chuck chillout mananged to bench three players who accumulated no stats this week. And bye weeks are over! Free advice: it might be time to dump Drew Bledsoe.
I'm farging awsome.
I'll trade LT & Peppers for a free ticket to the Titans game.
Any takers?

I don't think the problem is the moves. The problem is the crappy players. Of course, I had 3 WRs all with a bye on the same week, and because there are 15 farging teams in this league, I had crap to choose from.
Oh well...at least I have studly Clinton Portis to keep my hopes alive.
Or not.
You are 59 points ahead of me. Luckily, Chucks HappyBigpants isn'treally playing, and I'm abale to stay 36 points ahead of last place.
Tony Romo's in my starting lineup this week, which means he'll get 8 points and Vick will get 88.
Eli getting negative points made me happy in the pants because I got points in other places.

Aren't you a season ticket holder?
Sadly, I would have taken this deal if...
1. ...the league wouldn't have vetoed the shtein out of it, and...
2. ...I actually had an unused ticket, which it looked like I might have briefly yesterday, but I don't.

I would have scalped the ticket on RazorGator.
Ouch. Looks like micks is going to have to find a QB.

Other offensive standouts:
Lee Evans (SeasNutz) - 38 pts
Ocho Cinco (Phanatics) - 37 pts
Drew Brees (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 33 pts
Tom Brady (Monkey Spanks) - 27.5 pts
Larry Johnson (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 27 pts
Other defensive standouts:
Keith Bulluck (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 16 pts
Madieu Williams (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 14 pts
Antonio Pierce (FFargtards) - 13 pts
Kerry Rhodes (SeasNutz) - 13 pts
Mike Vrabel (Chucks HappyBigpants) - 12.5 pts
Sus has not had an offensive standout since Week 3 (Keyshawn Johnson). Dio has not had an offensive standout since Week 4 (David Carr) and is still 5th place in the league. Reese has not had a defensive standout since Week 6 (Charles Tillman).
There have not been any Eagles standouts since Week 7.
Romey monopolizes the MVPs for the second straight week. If you include his benched player, his RBs scored 73 points this week. Amazingly, Julius Peppers failed to record a single tackle.
SeasNutz started the fading Marc Bulger (5 pts) over Matt Leinart (23.5 pts).
Micks benched Jamal Lewis (28 pts) in order to start Ahman Green (2 points). Donovan McNabb scored 0.5 points for micks before being injured, but this was 0.5 points more than his backup QB, Damon Huard.
Regarding Peppers, I couldn't believe that he didn't record a tackle on Sunday so I looked through the Panthers website to see if he was benched with an injury or illness but couldn't find anything.
How the hell does a guy get three sacks the week before and get zero points the next week? Very strange.
As for Mike Bell, yeah... I should have started him but Denver's so farged up with their running backs, I never know when to bench him or play him.
Very frustrating.
Yeah you don't know what's going on with Denver's RBs until about the second quarter of the game. Part of the reason I dropped Mike Bell, who I drafted at the beginning of the season.
I benched Romo this week.
Go Vick.
F'ing Mike Bell tanked again last night. Piece of shtein. :boom
On the bright side, Marty Booker had 23 points! Of course, he did so while seated firmly on my bench, so...
:-D

Defensive MVPs: Charles Tillman (ridin reese's piece) & Adrian Wilson (FFargtards) - 17 pts

Other offensive standouts:
LaDainian Tomlinson (Romey's Killer Puns) - 26.5 pts
Steven Jackson (ridin reese's piece) - 25 pts
Frank Gore (Monkey Spanks) - 22 pts
:cfhead Brian Westbrook (MDS' Zordichs) - 22 pts
Devery Henderson (Susquehanna's Scrote) - 21 pts
Larry Johnson (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 21 pts
Other defensive standouts:
Lance Briggs (Sweet Sassy Mo-lassy) - 16 pts
Adalius Thomas (Phanatics) - 15 pts
Adam Jones (Mad-Lad Pwnz Yo Mama) - 14 pts
Kerry Rhodes (SeasNutz) - 14 pts
DeMeco Ryans (MDS' Zordichs) - 13 pts
Zach Thomas (Sweet Sassy Mo-lassy) - 13 pts
The top three players this week -- Joseph Addai, Tony Romo, and Vince Young -- were not played. In fact, only one of the top seven players (Carson Palmer) was played this week.
Clearly the biggest farg-ups this week were made by yours truly. I started Reuben Droughns and Matt Hasselbeck (combined: 12 pts) over Joseph Addai and Drew Brees (combined: 71 pts). Luckily, MDS totally failed to take advantage of the situation and only scored 12.5 points more than me.
FF started Vick over Romo for the last time this season. Clearly the fantasy football gods are angry over his flagrant abuse of the Colston tight end glitch.
Romey sat Marty Booker (23 pts) and started the tandem of Drew Bennett and Reggie Williams (3 points each).
Dio started Charlie Frye (2.5 pts) over David Carr (29 pts).
Starting Ashley Lelie (0 pts) over Kevin Curtis (10 pts) didn't work out for Demon.
Chucks HappyBigpants still has Drew Bledsoe on his bench. Meanwhile, micks still holds out hope of collecting more points from Donovan McNabb.
I just saw MDS' request. No.
Worth a shot. But I really meant to do it. Whatever, I've left so many points on the bench. If I win this it's a miracle.
I moved up like 5 spots this week. Too little too late though most likely.
Reggie Bush had 40 points for me yesterday. Funny thing is, I almost didn't start him.
:-D
Tomlinson continued his one-man-wrecking-crew assault on the record books, although he "only" got me 30.
I should be able to pick up some points on QB Eagles. I'm now down just 20 with Westbrook and Smith tonight, and he's got Reggie Brown. The Zordichs are making their move, baby!

I was down 20, gained 16 on you. Carry the 4, add the 3. Yea, 4 points bitch.
Should be a fun 2 weeks.
Dio with the last place finish this week. Wow what happened to that team?
Kudos to the micks for having the balls to go with Garcia this week.

Other offensive standouts:
LaDainian Tomlinson (Romey's Killer Puns) - 30 pts
:cfhead Jeff Garcia (micks) - 26.5 pts
Eli Manning (Phanatics) - 24 pts
DeAngelo Williams (SeasNutz) - 23 pts
Marvin Harrison (Chucks HappyBigpants) - 23 pts
Other defensive standouts:
Mike Vrabel (Chucks HappyBigpants) - 19 pts
Adrian Wilson (FFargtards) - 17 pts
Keith Bulluck (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 14 pts
Kirk Morrison (FFargtards) - 14 pts
Donnie Edwards (MDS' Zordichs) - 12 pts
Two rookie MVPs this week. Prior to this week, there had been zero rookie MVPs.
FF benched Michael Vick, Derrick Mason, and Jerious Norwood. All three had higher scores than anyone FF started at those positions.
Romey's two starting running backs outscored Dio's Bronx Brigands. All of Dio's Bronx Brigands.
Rod Smith (-2 pts) nearly moved Sarge into last place for the week. David Carr (-3 pts) DID move Dio into last place for the week. Dio's backup Charlie Frye managed to score 12.5 pts before being benched.
Mad-Lad benched a 17-pt roid monkey on defense. His top starting defender scored 8 points.
micks made a genius move in starting Jeff Garcia. Unfortunately he failed to have the same supernatural intuition about his running back situation. Ladell Betts sat on his bench with 23 points.
Sus benched Michael Jenkins (10 pts) and Mike Furrey (18 pts) to start Anquan Boldin (3 pts) and Devery Henderson (1 pt).
Bledsoe update: Chuck chillout still has Drew Bledsoe on his bench. Is he banned from next year's league or what?
By the way, Chuck also started Rex Grossman, who took 8.5 points away from his fantasy team. :poison
Chuck should be starting Bledsoe then. At least he won't lose points.
Next week the Zordichs claim first.
My team is choking bigtime. No touchdowns from any of my backs or receivers this week.
Need a good day from Rivers now to seal up a nice sized lead for the last week.
Hey QB---I need Drew Brees to go off in my money league, so we'll both be rooting for him.
I've got Brees in my money league as well... so many reasons to root against the Cowgirls tonight.
I've also got Antonio Gates in my money league, so as long as Rivers keeps throwing all his TDs to Gates I'm fine with him doing well.
At this point, Brees going off won't even matter. I'll still be up.

You got saved by the bell there. If Brees had thrown any passes in the fourth quarter I'm pretty confident your lead would have evaporated. Looks like the stage is set for an exciting Week 15.
I guess we're both rolling in the money this week though. :yay
Yea I didn't need that good of a day. :-D
Have a lead entering the last week. Should be fun.
Looks like my plans for cellar domination are coming to fruition.
I couldn't believe my eyes watching Brees absolutely shred Dallas last night.
It's too bad they took a knee at the end of the game.
That should be a signal to Biff to hang it up.

This was an exceptionally terrible week for defense. Mad-Lad benched would-be MVP Shawne Merriman. This is the second conseuvtive week that roid monster Merriman has scored at least 17 points on Mad-Lad's bench.
I managed to lose first place in the league with both MVPs on my starting roster - a testament to how crappy the rest of my team was this week. Had I not played Drew Brees, my backup quartberback Matt Hasselbeck would have been the week's MVP.
Romey started Eric Moulds (0 pts) over Drew Bennett (12 pts). Moulds had 7 yards receiving.
SeasNutz started Matt Leinart (19 pts) over Marc Bulger (30.5 pts). Seabiscuit is showing signs of having a FFargtard-like QB controversy.
Mad-Lad managed to start two wide receivers who accumulated no stats this week.
Sus started Alex Smith and Michael Jenkins (5.5 pts combined) over Big Ben and Devery Henderson (34.5 pts combined). That had to hurt.
Demon sat Maurice Jones-Drew, who had more than 3 times the points of his two starting running backs combined. Always start running backs against Indianapolis or :cfhead.
Bledsoe watch: Drew Bledsoe once again scored 0 points on chuck chillout's bench this week. Amazingly, all offensive starters on this apparently neglected team scored at least 10 points.

Go ahead, chip away at your own punchline.
Did I win yet?
I kept my eye on the Titans game and noticed what Drew Bennett was up to. I actually thought I switched Moulds and him last week but I guess not.

Can't win for losing sometimes in these leagues. You play a guy you're sure is going to have a big day and sure enough he gets hammered. That happened to me last year when Tomlinson played the Eagles. I was fine with it that day, though.
Thanks to the Vikings doing a surprise last-second deactivation of Marcus Robinson, I've pissed away 17 Joey Galloway points so far. :boo
I like what I see after the 1pm games, but with 2 players each for MNF, it'll come down to that.
I sit the wrong QB every week.
You better farging believe I'm playing Romo next week and Vick in week 17, FWIW.

Kevin Jones Dominic Rhodes

If anyone had Dawk, he would have been the defensive MVP.
Later this week I'll be posting some in-depth statistical analysis of this fantasy season.
I played the wrong QB. Again. And yet, the one I did play was an offensive standout.
I lost any chance of winning this league the moment I drafted Daunte Culpepper in round 2. If I had even a decent quarterback throughout the season I might have had this thing wrapped up weeks ago.
Eh - live and learn.
:P
Rueben Drohns killed me. This was the first week though that i was the shteintiest team :yay
Droughns killed me dead in another league. I picked him in the second round based on my draft cheat sheet (where all the other experts had him going in the top 15) and ended up getting nothing from him all year. Well, except the weeks I didn't play him. Those weeks he lit it up.
:-D
same here romey
On the flipside my brothers money league has him in the finals guaranteed 600 bucks. I helped him with his draft so im getting a nice christmas gift :D
